Well, isn't Dboy and Boyi the same basic company?

RIS unit ram fitted onto barrel nut and came loose - fixed for now with superglue.
Motor utter ###### - replaced immediately.
Hop rubber tore with less than 4000 rounds through it - replaced rubber and misshaped lump of rubber pretending to be the nub.
Barrel wobble because barrel nut kept coming loose - replaced body with a CA.
SEVERE body rock - see above.
Horrid stock that was splitting open along the seam - replaced stock with a DBoys Crane
So...pays ya money, takes ya choice.

Project gun? Only if your project is to see how much of a gun you need to replace to make it usable.

Yup, you get what you pay for. If I saved up all the money I spent on cheap, crappy AEG's, I would have a few reliable, nice guns...

As from what little info i can find on that one it seems very hit and miss to wether you get a goodun or not. But if you do get a goodun, they are very good?
Or have i misheard? There do seem to be so many 'new' D-Boys rifles that i'm losing track.

I recently bought a DBoys SIR for my M4 and was very happy with it. I also bought a set of whizzy (and cheap) sights for the gun at the same time.
For some reason, I received 2 sets of sights. Maybe one set came with the SIR. There's nothing to suggest they should have but, whatever. I received 2 sets of front and rear flip-up sights.
I recall Guzzi' saying that the DBoys flip-up rear sight was a bit wobbly and cheap. I noticed something similar with one of my flip-up rear sights too. The other one, however, was altogether more solid and less wobbly.
Same sort of thing with the front sights too.
I guess DBoys DO have some pretty major QC issues.
Off-hand, I'd say you're OK to buy anything DBoys make that's plastic (My SIR and Crane stock are terrific!) but you should probably be wary of anything metal.
A: To get to the same side.
If you're making a commercial post (advertising something you sell for profit) and you haven't asked for, and received, a "Commercial User" tag you should expect your posts to be deleted and to receive warning points.

My BIM4 is OK, well built and solid. Bit of a bitch to disassemble but thats a minor thing. Oh, and the piston on the BIM4 disintegrated as soon as I put a 130 spring in...
What does sort of dismay me is that I did a big review of the SPR and all its problems, plus posting elsewhere that it was pathetic...and yet people are still saying "ah well, im gonna get one anyway...". Im trying to warn folks and it seems that Im largely wasting my time.
Having said that, Id appreciate it if anyone who buys one of these and finds they have the same faults as I have, would PM me or something to tell me I was right

Best wait for a review on this new model before passing judgement is my humble advice.
