I was at the Blackhole show over the weekend and having gone through everything I decided that It was pointless writting up a review about it, why you ask! well to be honest there was bugger all there.

One thing that did jump out was a company has started on a design to replicate the bolt, bolt release and forward assist and actually making it work. The version they had was not on show and I was unable to take any pictures or videos of it but for those not in the know it work like this.

Pulling the cocking handle back locked the bolt back into the open position, Allowing you access to the hop unit, this was then released like on the real steel by pushin the bolt release catch on the side.

The forward assist worked in the same manner as the ICS version. The cool thing here was that it works with very little modification to Tokyo Marui style gear boxes!

These look like they will be ready for release by the end of the summer but if they will be available outside of Japan is yet to be seen.

I have a small favor to ask FarEast. Due to that I am in Hawaii (especially after our AshBash game and interviews with Boss Gerira), I am stuck at my shop working and cannot attend the Blackhole show. Would you please if possible provide any pictures of the show? I am also very interested in what Marui has been showing off regardless if it is bugger or not. Any other updates is also appreciated.

But did charging the rifle actually charge the rifle? or am I just going to have to drop a grand on Ojisan Kobas C8?
