Wow... 4 support weapons (well, 3 support weapons and a minigun), either ECHO 1 is gonna wait till some chinese cloner makes them or they're actually gonna start designing... although I'm seriously questioning the validity of the article, and not just cause it's from wikipedia...

I call bullsh!rt.
I'll believe it when I see it in the white, or in resin casts - otherwise it's just fanboy wishing, just like the "recently announced" Tokyo Marui GBB SVD Dragunov, AEG HK21, and AEG Tavor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Marui
Yeah.
Because everything on the intarw3b is truth.
Funny no one else had made this annoucement, including TM themselves, a company with a notorious history of announcing guns years before they hit market.
I rather think some as*hat with a mean-on for a particular gun just edited the wiki.

Nothing like taking 21st century gear and transporting it back in time to fight the Viet-Cong...

Lol, I think RIS came after Vietnam. Why would you ever make a M16 VN with a RIS? I think their efforts would be better spent if they made a M16 with a M203 attatched and put those nuice hadguards and ladder sights on them.
EDIT: off topic, lol 733, you quoted me

I hope your anger isn't directed at me, I just posted an interesting find. But to be honest, it doesn't look very valid to me either.

Well, it'll most likely come with a VN-type mag, thus obviously making it a M16VN.

Old designation.
The "C" originally stood for "Commando" then Colt sued H&K over copyright infringement (similar to what they did with the HK416, it was originally the HKM4)

How can Colt copyright the word "Commando"? Well, anyways, that still doesn't answer how Echo 1 plans to release a G36 Commando after they already have a G36C.
