I don't know.

They honored the CA M249 drop a while back. That was two weeks before the official price drop.

Aren't they supposed to legally? Not that I know the law well or anything, but I didn't see a message on their sit saying that prices are subject to change without notice.

If the US law is anything like the UK law then they are perfectly within their right to refuse any sales at that price and withdraw the item in question from sale for 48hours to comply with trading standards regs, thats in the UK at least.

Well, I cant see a customs person really going "Oh dear, that looks like a banana mag and its not an AK mag... CALL THE UMAREX HOTLINE!"...somewhere in germany, a lawyer picks up a red flashing plastic phone, V1s are launched at your house...etc etc

Naw, in the US if you refuse service you can be sued for discrimination.

It's false advertising here in the States. It's like going to a grocery store to find the Avocados mislabel as a per pound price instead of a per Avocado price. They have to honor whatever is posted. True story too.

Dunno if they can do this in the states but over here if the item is put up for sale at the wrong price and it's very apparent it's the wrong price then they can refuse sale - Happened to me (and everyone in the office) a few years back when Amazon.co.uk were spotted to be selling an IPAQ pocket PC for only a few £. Naturally they fixed the price and told all us customers that had tried to buy it to naff off or cough up the 400 odd quid it was actually worth.

Of course if the item in question isn't underly priced the retailer could honor the price, take a small loss and gamble that will spread a good reputation and thus more revenue in the long run.

Somehow I doubt anyone would sue over that amount of money. No lawyer would ever take the case. And, anyone who would try to sue over a simple mistake like that has a few screws loose. And, besides it was just added this last week for a gun that just recently came out. How many people do you really think purchased that "deal?" Airsoft GI is a reputable company they would honor the price.

Well seeing as it's the law in this country, iirc, then I'm sure that they would get in trouble for false advertising and several law firms would take the case. Hell if people can sue over their coffee being to hot and getting burned by it then by all means a case like this could be taken.
