Guys at Dragonred are really not very good at promoting their shop and their products, so Ill have to help a little. Truth is Ive never bought anything from them, but now, not only do they have two things I need, but they also lowered their prices on many of their products.

Bowman Headset Replica: already have the Cavalvy one, wich is decent? Yeah, but this one is only 58$ AND you get to choose what connector you want, not just 2 pin: 8 different models.

They also carry the first Blackhawk Serpa Holster clones for USP, 1911, M9, Glock and P226. Too bad they only have them in black, but meh...

49,99$, by the way.

If you are getting errors on the links, go to http://www.dragonredairsoft.com, click on "Forums" and youll see the threads. You can already find the holsters in the prodcuts site.

Shame the Bowman replica still doesn't appear to have a single 2.5mm pin for Motorola Talkabouts. I'm curious about the quality of the headset... especially the PTT.

Looking at the Serpas... I'm wondering if they found the OEM that BHI uses in China and got the OEM to sell Serpas for cheap.

I remember running into these holsters at Kwong Wa street while I was there. THe quality of the plastic didn't look like it'll last too long But I could be wrong.

I found that. I meant the actually listing in the Products section. I found the sales listings for the Holsters but I missed the headset.

Not surprised. I have a hard enough time navigating through that site. All my browsers hate it. I keep getting one product raised above all the others so I can't click on any product aside from the top one. Jacked.

Single PIN 2.5mm motorola connector will be avaialbe next week. For Saber connector, add $20 extra. We haven't formally started selling the headset but only taking a few regular's order. The production batch will come next week. The factory will customize the headset with the desired connector. So it take a while to ship.

The holster is not OEM BHI. It is a hardcode player's personal work. He cloned the holster using a 3D scanner and imported the same material, same buckles, same stramps to build it. The quality is super.

Do they make a holster for the USP .45?

Will the headsets work with ICOM radios?

Just out of sordid curiousity... why would you buy a replica SERPA for $50, when you can get the real thing for $40? And if you're really cash-strapped, you can even buy the Sportsman SERPAs which cost a whopping $30.

Oh. And I live in a town where SERPAs are made. And I'd appreciate it if people bought the real thing, even if everything else BHI makes is over-priced cack copied from everyone else. Even if the SERPA doesn't work with my RS SiG Sauer (which has a checkered trigger guard, instead of the more typical serrated trigger guard).

Not defending cloners... Just want to get the facts straight regarding prices: these cloned holsters come with the tactical drop leg platform. A real BHI holster with tactical platform costs between $95 and $115 depending on where you buy it... Not $40. $40 will get you a Serpa but no tactical platform. Just wanted to clarify that point.

When I think 'SERPA' I clearly think something different from everyone else, then.

That is all. Carry on.

Sorry but could you clear something up for me, your website states that the connector fits "Saber/HT1000 Connector". Would this also fit the Motorola Talkabout range, eg. the T5522 or is it a differant kind of connector.

Thanks

Hope this help. If not, send me your radio model, I will see if I can find you the right connector.

The YAESU two look similar but cant be sure they would be compatible.

Motorola Talkabout T5522 is the model. Please see the below link for the connector spec. Its the first one on the page

The two YAESU plugs shouldn't be compatible. YAESU typically use 3.5mm, 4 pole plugs which is illustrated in the above pic and in the link you (Malakith) included. Motorola Talkabouts on the other hand use 2.5mm, 3 pole plugs.

Until a Bowman style headset comes out with Motorola Talkabout connectors, I'm not terribly interested. dry.gif
