http://zapodaj.net/images/33334068.jpg - here's a photo, but it's wood-off huge. Clicky clicky.

And these babies are ready-to-go metal&wood AKs from a still unknown manufacturer. Airsoft-News' bets are on A&K, mine is on ARMY.

CYMA CM.035
1. Metal Body?
2. Real Wood?
3. 9.6v Compatable? (12v Compatable?)
4. Price?

Shirley Toys AK's
1. Why is the rear sight flipped up on the AK47?
2. Why no angled AKM flash-hider on the AKM?
3. AKM's have black bolts....right?
Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.

Keep us up to date, Gunner, especially about when you might expect to get some in - I know there'd be a lot of us in the UK looking to get a hold of one of these before our October deadline...... dry.gif

Good to see you back on the forums!

Thanks djl,

As I know, there will be at least 2 AKSU coming out from Chinese (not include Unicorn). CYMA and DBOYS.

I guess the Price will be around 850-900 hkd (usd 120 ish), just a guess, can`t confirm it this moment.

also I was told the Dboys one will be availiable at the mid september, and the CYMA one wil be end of Sep.

The Unicorn AKSU will be in-stock within 3 days, but....the quality is different, and the price is doubled also....(Compare to CYMA).

Also 1 more thing....the DBOYS one has Stamped Steel body instead of cast metal. So.....my suggestion is......don`t hurry on the anything until they are all here.

1. It just is.
2. & 3. Because it's an AK-47 with a god awful 'AKM' wood kit installed.

Ha, that's easy for you to say biggrin.gif ......we've got 26 days to go before our airsoft-related imports get somewhat more problematic.

4.40 in the morning in Hong Kong - old habits die hard, eh Gunner?

ya, same as usual.
I have no chance to sleep until I see the sunrise.....everyday.

for 26 days, seem the choice will be Dboys and unicorn.
hope CYMA can do it faster......

Lordyeray,

AKM will be the last one, next one from unicorn will be AK74M (or you call it a 103) and AK104, also AKS74. these will be released on early oct.

AKM, Romanian AIMS, will be released early nov.

DANMU AKM kit will be released by the end of this month....

At least it's not another Armalite variant. Be nice to see a clone CAR-15 though.

You think the wood's going to be plastic? sad.gif

Fake edit: It does look a lot like plastic, unfortunately.

Real edit: Too many smiles for such a short post. Didn't look right.

Pretty over the top title for another Chinese clone, infact there is no point in posting clones in the news section, as it isn't really "new" at all.

Maybe Gunner would do us the favour of seeing if his $28 wood kit for the VFC AKS74 is compatible with the CYMA when its shows up - if so, get one added the order and you're well on the way to an authentic "irate Chechnyan" look.

AIMS has a side folding stock that is a single wire going to a small triangle / butt plate. They also typically have a "Donkey Dong" foregrip.

I CAN WAIT TO GET ONE! Want to accept my pre-order now?!
