QUOTE
I have been requested to post the following information regarding a robbery fromAirsoft Warrior

Hi everybody.
I've been authorised by Rob & Simon of Airsoft Warrior to relay this message to all airsofters.
The information here is all i'm willing & able to give as it's all i know & is all thats neccesary.

On the 11th of September 2007 between 8.45pm & 9.30pm Airsoft warrior owners Rob & Simon had their new, very large, consignment stolen during transit along the M4 corridor whilst traveling from HM customs to their warehouse.

They stopped at the site where i work for food & when they returned to their van the entire consignment of Army, JG, D-Boys, Cyma, DE etc AEG's & kit had been taken.

After calling the police they came in to me to report the incident & after i established that they were Airsoft Retailers i explained that i too was an airsofter & offered to put this information on the web to make everybody aware of whats happened.
They agreed that this was a good idea & here we are.

Its very important that note be taken to the fact that its highly likely that these airsoft guns will be soon sold on so care should be taken to make sure that stolen goods are not being recieved.

I've also been told to say that if you are an existing customer of Airsoft Warrior awaiting a delivery please don't worry as anybody who may be affected by this theft will be contacted personally by either Rob or Simon as soon as humanly possible.
If everybody starts sending E-mails & calling their office it will retard the speed in which they can resolve any problems which may have occured.
They promise to contact every one affected.

Please Do not reply to this thread as i'm only conveying a message on behalf of Airsoft Warrior.

Should you have any information which may be relevant to this theft Please contact Airsoft Warrior at their office on 01237 459744 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

Please do not contact me regarding this as i will have no further involvement in the case, I am meerly a messenger.

Thanks all,
Armourpiercing

Damn sad.gif
There really are some low life nasty bits of work out there, I hope they don't simply get away with it. Fingers crossed they try to sell the stolen goods and someone picks up on it, and the guys get their consignment back.

Given the classifieds on ASCUK have been shut to new AEG ads, and eBay doesn't allow full replicas anymore, the amount of places to try and sell them will be a little more limited than it could have been. Eyes and ears open people.

Heh, I think you guys overestimate the brains of these guys.

This is either somebody who knows what airsoft is all about, in which case they're probably reading this and will put the guns up for sale one at a time for the next year or so OR they're chavs who'll take the guns into the nearest local forest, shoot em until the batteries go flat then throw them in a river. sad.gif

Did anything ever come of the break-in at A2?

Maybe, but unless the van was advertising the kind of contents it might have been carrying, surely they'd have to be pretty clued up to plan such a theft and be aware of what it was they were actually stealing ?

Pfft!

Who says they knew?

Seriously, a lot of these poopies are no better than seagulls or rats. They just see a van and it's 2nd nature to look inside.

There's a cleaning company based near where I live. They have a fleet of those small Fiat vans and they leave them all parked up at night with the rear doors open.
It's the easiest way to prove to the scumbags that there's nothing inside worth nicking.

Like I say, they'll nick anything and THEN see if it's worthwhile.
I bet this lot didn't know what to think when they saw a van full of guns.

It's only a shame that a bunch like Leadmill and co didn't happen to wander past in full SO19 kit. I'd pay to have seen that.

It's unlikely that the Airsoft Warrior transport had any advertising on it. I've actually been to the Airsoft Warrior warehouse and it's completely unmarked. Not a word on it. You can't even see into the building. The glass panel in the door is boarded up, etc. I suspect that crime is down to a couple of crims who go around motorway services looking for stuff to pinch.

I suppose so. I guess as you say SB I'm probably giving such scumbags too much credit, when they were probably just opportunists on the lookout for vans to check out like Spudgun suggests.

It does suprise me though as I'd generally think of service stations as relatively busy for the most parts not the place for shifty mofo's to go nicking van loads of airsoft gear. Then again most people these days probably wouldn't bat an eyelid if the thieves were telling everyone what they were up to whilst doing it.

Service stations are one of the worst places for car crime as you can pretty much watch someone leave their car and know they are gonna be away for at least 20 minutes a friend had his caravan unhitched and stolen at a service station.
You smell that? Do you smell that? Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
You know, one time we had an entire chav fest bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked over. We didn't find one car left, not one stinkin' alloy wheel. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... Burberry Aftershave

agreed sounds like an ordinary opportunist theft unfotunately for them thanks to the VCRA they've gone and stolen the equivalent of brand new numbered bank notes

no where to sell them after oct 1st and cant stick em on ebay etc in meantime

scant consolation to the folks who've had their stock nicked though sad.gif
