If anyone's interested WGC is carrying those new metal Taiwan Hi-capas.

Doesn't look too bad at $165 but I'd rather get the TM over it.
Is it just me, or is it missing the mounting notch on the rail. >_>

Too bad my TM Hi-Capa arrived afew days ago.. But I'm not liking those already-fugly trademarks on the full metal version... Eurgh.

Also, the integrated rail, theres no notch under it... so I wonder how accessories are mounted...?

Good find though mate.

"Initial bullet speed - 270-290 FPS with Topgas & 0.2g BB"

Is it just me or do those numbers seem a little bit low?

My one just arrived from WGC. Its lovely, it feels great, just like a real one. Even down to the noisy slide. Anyway it seems to be shooting at around 310 with topgas, so i don't know where the 270-290 came from! Don't like the armotec logo on the grip so will be changing it for a TM grip.

I am really drawn to this piece, given that its a FMV hi-capa clone...but the fact that the armotech name is anywhere near it gives me cause for concern.

theyve always struck me as one of those companies eager to put out any crappy product they can as long as its popular and sells initially / appeals to those with little actual knowledge.
the cracked bells and washed-out horns blow into my face with scorn, but its not that way, I wasnt born to lose you...

May I ask how you change it to a TM grip.

If it is in fact possible, and the realibility is the same as a Tokyo Marui (except that it can run Green with 0 mods), then it will be mine after I save up more money after buying gear! wink.gif

Simple, take the old grip of and throw it away. TM sell replacements in Black/OD and Blue ( not sure about the last one ). Search the news pages their was a post about it about a month ago.
Back home again.

Actually, I believe those color grips were a limited run for the Black Hole show. UN company used to have an OD one in stock, but I'm not sure if they still have them.
