So WA is set to revive the US Army model of the 1911 Military, it looks like they are going to add this to the 'Carbon' series based on the pictures. It's also going to come with wood grips, I'm looking forward to adding it to the collection.

Let the "yay...another 1911...... dry.gif hilarity begin!

Slainte!

So what is the deal with SCW3 anyway? Am I understanding correctly that SCW2 is preferable? huh.gif

Dear WA, please drop the SCW3 system and go back to SCW2....I do like the Carbon Black finish.

They also have a new Cougar and a tiny Beretta (can't remember the designation) in Carbon Black.

It might be 'another 1911' but this does look nice. At least this looks solid, with a good finish smile.gif

Wouldn't a 1911 of this era be a blued not a err...'carbon' finish?

It's an old school 1911, if the blued finish doesn't look rubbed, then it'd be rusted.
