Escort is working hard on several projects. Paul sent in heads up about their latest YouTube update, which shows working M16 bolt catch- with standard Marui magazines:

This is done using standard un-modified Tokyo Marui magazines.

No hard details at this time.

For the curious, I've grabbed a few bits of infro from this classicairsoft.net thread:

question:  Price? Timeline till available?

question:  so are actual bolt catch levers being used on the left side of the receiver like they should be, or is it entirely internal?

sniperx: Yesm, its actually a modified real catch lever.

....It is definately lining up as a user install piece. Its a very simple piece to install. It may take some fine tuning of the dimensions due to slight casting differences, but the material is soft and easier to adjust....

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I'm definitely looking forward to this!

Yeah but they said its a no-go on the mp5, which wouldnt even be a bolt catch, just a bit to make the gun stop firing after the bb's are empty.

Looks good for the SP's though, one day ill get around to getting one, so i can  afford all the upgrades that bring the price up so much

tried escort in japan or gunsnguys in hongkong (I picked up an XM177E2 from them and I think they had some carbines not too long ago not sure if they have any at the mo) or even secondhand from classicairsoft.net or on the sales sections of this very board (carbine has just sold one on here in the worldwide trades section)
