Well with the forums upgrades out the way (there's a lot of artwork work to do at the moment, but that is being sorted at the moment) we are now on the lookout for individuals who would be interested in writing material for the news pages here.
Writing is easy as we provide simple guides and a free software package that works in windows that easily allows you to post news from a desktop or laptop anywhere in the world. So if you think you can help and would like to help the site out and contribute, please do post on here. The current mods and staff will decide who we will initially take on and we'll give all the help that we can. All offers of help much appreciated. Hi Arnie,
I've sent you an email mate on another note to catch up on things =) Moving on! I've been into Airsoft for around 7-8 years, moving on from a casual skirmisher to technical help for various retailers, and then on to helping with graphics design for retailers across the globe. I've always tried to maintain an active role in the community, offering advice where need be etc, and passing on technical knowledge where appropriate. I was in the process of creating a new "news" website for Airsoft, after noticing the diminishing amount of updates on the UK / Europe based news sites, however should the opportunity be presented here, I'd love to restore Arnie's to its former glory I remember several years ago, when there was no better site around (IMG:http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'd be more than happy to have a more in-depth conversation if need be, as im not sure how much you want posted here! =) + This will give me the right to replace some of those 3 year old banners and buttons I made for Arnie back in the day, as they make me cry inside (IMG:http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) -------------------- Primary: SL8-6 Semi-Auto only @ Sniper FPS w/ Hurricane EOTech 553 & STAR 3x Magnifier.

I'm willing to help, Arn. I know we've had our disagreements in the past (mainly my fault, and one certain other individual) but i usually browse most retailers every other day or so, so would be happy to help out with various news, stock, or pre order updates.

I should add that it's a dead easy system we've got set up there's no complex code writing to do. Type, insert links and add images (all WYSIWYG - you see it how it posts) then just click "post". (IMG:http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

i am not able to write the calibre of material which arnies deserves however i am more than willing to offer to proof read articles for content and readablity and where required convert them into plain english

I have come to terms with many things in my life but as soon as you can accept that airsoft is a bunch of grown men dressing up as soilders and playing with toy guns in a glorified version of paintball or "army" you will have found the enlightenment to be honest with yourself ive been airsofting for more than 14 years. ive played at most of the sites in england at least once. do i REALY have to prove that im an airsofter in any other way? |
