why the AUG first? theres so much sex in they're "2008" line up like the SIG550 and the folder AK74M (*drool*) the AUG is nothing special in comparison (not that i hate the AUG )

Maybe because they have already been making AUG's and probably the only thing different from their other AUG's is the scope.

yeah that is obviously the case but i reckon they will flogg more of the 550 and AK74M etc just because they are rarer and hence more desirable

I want one but I'm on a tight lease with my girlfriend about airsoft right now. I may be able to convince her on the 550, but not an AUG.

Any word on what the scope is. Is it an actual 1.5x optic, or just a hollow tube with crappy peep sights.

Wondering about it too. RSOV sates it comes with scope carry handle, so most likely the scope will have a magnification.

It's supposed to be an actual scope. I've heard 1.5x and 3x. I'd guess its 1.5x

3x?! That completely kills the realism factor.....
It's amazing that such simple research goes ignored, and weapons get botched. Prime example being the CA AUG "A2".

It's looking a lot like 3x to me in that picture, but it should be taken into account that everything other than the scope image is not in focus... We don't really have any reference point for distance or even clarity, so that picture doesn't really help.
