if you look closely, there's actually some trades on the 416

actually they look like real hk416 trades... and it doesn't look that grayish..

No, there's a thread about it. Its full steel with an aluminum barrel. Claims to be exact VFC replica; as their aks74u. The wiring is superb. This is an awesome deal and I'm thinking about placing an order right now. But I might hold off until the full stock ones come in.

I have a feeling gunner's next. And they usually have pics of it outside of the box.

Also I find the AK kind of fishy as its the cheapest out of the 3 Kalash's at RSOV.

JG 416 looks like it's a 416 style ris on a normal M4 body. You can tell by the angle of the magwell

It's a shame it's not a proper 416 but really what do we expect for 54 quid!!

It's not perfect, but the early prototypes for the 416 did have an angled magwell....you can see one at the bottom of this page

Looks like I can fit a cranestock to it, and drop the silly batterybox. I am guessing this has the same internals as the S-System? I bought 3 of them, and they are consistently 120m/s+. Might be a tad hot for some sites >_<

hmm not liking the positioning (or LENGTH) of the power cable. I prefer my PEQ box on the right of the gun, so I'd have to move that wiring about.

No biggie, but still annoying.

As for the magwell, that doesn't bother me at all. I'm not at detail nazi. It's got trades, which is a first and should be lauded for that. Any incorrect details can be fixed with after-market parts, if you can be bothered (or have the cash).

A "drop-in" 416 upper receiver module and a complete carbine are both being offered

Indicates that 416's will have BOTH angled and level magwells.

I'm actually more interested in whether a 417 is coming out soon. (But am still tempted to get one of these )
