Just found these on the WGC site, New kits for the Marui Sig P226 at $220.

Not sure weather or not these would be the PGC kits that were due out. If so, they are just the first couple of models. biggrin.gif

It's nice to see that PGC finally got around to releasing a few P226 kits but I was looking forward to the X-Five more than anything else. I was also hoping for something without rails.

I guess that it is still possible that they will be releasing more in a short time.

I thought PGC already released a non-railed kit previously, way before this one

A new & inproved version, with this one you can use r/s grips and not have to do any mods to fit them. wink.gif

Perversity Gun Corporation:

"Guys from Perversity Gun Corporation presented pictures of previously announced P226 Elite conversion kit. Elite has enhanced ergonomics and some other notable features. Description courtesy of SIGArms:

How do you improve on the world’s best pistol? By adding enhanced ergonomics and new features including an enhanced trigger system with an astounding short reset. The new P226 Elite is the next generation P226 and features an ergonomic beavertail grip, front cocking serrations, front strap checkering, custom wood grips and the new Short Reset Trigger or SRT. SIG engineers designed the SRT to provide you the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA with a comfortable reset that is 60% shorter for faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting. The P226 Elite is available in 9mm, .357SIG or .40 S&W. Also available in Nitron® or an all Stainless finish." - airsoft news

Good find.

Glad to see that there are more kits being released. I actually really like the look of this but I am still going to hold out for an X-five or at the very least a non-railed version.

Never understood why everybody bleats about Cybergun while, at the same time, singing the praises of Umarex and UTG.

Nothing. Pro-Win is PGC's brand name they use some of the time. DX kits where when they started to add bits like the recoil spring and piston.

Oh alright, the reason I asked was because I saw both a Pro Win and DX Marui 1911 kit on UNco so I was wondering...

Is it really going to be a Nitron® finish, or just a black that mimics the finish of Nitron®?

I believe that the above was taken from the SIG site regarding the real deal, not the PGC kits

Anyone have one of these yet? Would be interested in how easy it is to install the real grips.

Fitted mine last week. Piece of ######, and runs smoothly with very little wearing in to do. Just had to file the blowback unit, trigger housing and the slide release.

I tested fitted a set of rubber hogue grips and they went on no problem. You just use the approriate set of spacer rings, it also comes with rings for wood hogue grips and the original marui ones.
