Just in case they ARE reading this, how about an Uzi? Full metal please. With hicaps.

It was the upper receiver that was(and still is) more obviously wrong.

A'right: maybe I should have written "93% correct body", but I think the correct magwell is a hell of an improvement. The colour looks a lot better too. Markings are still a bit too light, but I think this second version is great.

Yeah I see that too now that I look at it.

I suppose the SRC may be more worth the money is its in the $300 range.

That little bulge on the top receiver is supposed to be rounded instead of edged. I saw this last night before it was posted on ASN, but I just thought it was nothing different so I dismissed it.

lowcaps PWN!!!!! but, most standard cap uzi mags are pretty realistic, being as real uzi mags hold 50 rounds.

Maybe it's just my opinion, but I get the feeling that you guys are really being sticklers about this... Come on, one little bit where the upper receiver sticks out where it shouldn't, and some other minor differences that you wouldn't be able to tell unless you really painstakingly examined an HK416 at some point.

I'm willing to bet if you compared the two side-by-side then the differences would be painfully obvious.

But, you know, having never seen the 416 myself (and the pictures of the JG are too small) i can't see the differences yet. maybe when some higher res pictures show up.

How is it that people don't complain then about their beloved pot metal wrong dimension CA M15A4's? Last time I checked, the basic models had the aligment with the front set wrong (no CASV), not to mention that they completely lack the replica nuts the real gun has for the trigger axle and such near the fire selector.

Suck it up. Not everything can be perfect and when it comes to the HK416, IMO people are always being hypocritical.

Again? This always happens when we make mpeg threads. No one is really complaining; they just said they'd rather get the SRC. I think its helpful to put forth the inaccurasies of guns so those manufacturers reading will notice it and fix it. Obviously that worked for this specific gun.

It informs the general public and makes them more knowledgeable about details on guns. Its not necessarily something to get worked up about.

I too think that people are being overly critical of this, and I am pleased that Jing Gong have acted so quickly to change the magwell. As someone else said, plenty of the manufacturers making more expensive guns get small details entirely wrong but are not given so much of a hard time about it.
