Today Echo1 USA released the full length version of their new promotional video on YouTube. As well as some awesome footage and special effects the video show cases some of the products that Echo1 USA will be releasing in 2008, including the M249 Para.

I have to say that Echo1’s videos seem to be getting better and better!

So check it out!

Thats pretty sweet. Only thing I caught was that they said M4 when I believe it was an M733. I like the video more towards the end, very professional film though.

On a side note.. did anyone catch the M14 EBR on CSI not too long ago? I think that was an Echo 1 if I'm not mistaken.

Todays headlines:-

"Echo 1 release new MP5s for 2008. The world snores in anticipation!"

The 1990s phoned and they want to know if they can have their product line-up back.

Erm, yeah. Nice video though. unsure.gif

It's funny, they say "second to none" but I bet you a dime and a gumball that a Tokyo Marui of the same model will out last an Echo-1. Actually, I'd be willing to bet a CA Sportline M4 would be better than an Echo-1 and they're cheaper. So that's a flatout lie there... dry.gif

Also, the music at the beginning was pretty stupid if you ask me.

Meh, I'm still not buying anything made in China. I'm too paranoid. You'll see what I mean during the summer olympics. It's 1939 all over again... sad.gif

right moving on from a minor outbreak of xenophobia, I have to admit that I wasnt really all that keen on the video. Looked like a bundle of magic bullet colour filters, suffered from too many repeated clips at times, said nothing and didnt really have much atmosphere at all.

Don't make assumptions when you havn't personally had experience tongue.gif. I've personally had a TM totally fall to pieces game after game, and my ECHO 1's still kicking strong and better than my TM. However, others have gotten bad ECHO 1's and their TM's have been going strong instead. It's all luck of the draw tongue.gif.

Anyway, I don't get it. Just some variations on products they already have? Different MP5, AK-47, the SAME M4 Commando, the SAME M249 Para that is already out (airsoftgi.com), and the SAME M14 EBR that's been out? Someone explain please sad.gif.

Well, the production values are top-notch, and it does look professional.

However, it's still a steaming pile of wut. A professional looking steaming pile, but a steaming pile nontheless.

Incoherent, repeated clips, disorienting with all the *fruitcage* jerking about - something that I REALLY BLOODY HATE in videos becaues it serves no purpose at all.

It picked up near the end, but it didn't introduce anything that we've not seen before, overused colour filters like someone's just discovered the level and hue/saturation settings in After Effects and quite frankly weird music that didn't really fit.

I thought it looked good... best airsoft commerical I've seen, in fact, one of like 3 I've ever seen.

But yea, it doesn't offer anything to wow a veteran player, but I'm sure if I was new I'd be like "I want an Echo1!!!!!!"

Not a fan. Craptastic music, briefe clips that tell you nothing, no real product info, hard to follow with all the flashing back and forth and as pointed out the filters where just anoying.

hahahaha you guys are harsh!

It's a Youtube video by a company thats only a year old, lets give them a break.

They are actaully trying to help the US airsoft industry. Yes we all know we can buy them cheaper in HK and yes we all know you can do you own servicing but there are alot of people out thier that need the warranty and after sales service....thus why they are going from strength to strength.

So rather than hitting on the under dogs that are bringing you affordable Japanese products, warrantied and after sales supported Chinese products. Why don't you give them a pat on the back for trying to actually do something a little fun.

I just happen to think it looks awful - what it does and doesnt do for airsoft, or how long they've been in business doesn't alter that. Not much point folks ooing and aahing over something they dont think is any good - better off them saying what it is they dont like about it. Honest feedback and all that.. Id rather have constructive criticism of what folks feel is wrong with it than be left to repeat the same formula for a second one

At the end of the day its an advert for a commercial company advertising their products. As for helping the industry? only in so much as it helps them sell more product. Bit like saying an infomercial for the Super Abs 10000 ™ is helping the fitness industry..

Was pretty cool, but the second to none part was a bit stupid. Obviously a lot of other airsoft companies make far superior products, and anyone even mildly into airsoft knows this. They only make themselves look bad with that, but it is nice to see an airsoft commercial.

That's all very well but tell me more about the Super Abs 10000 ™.

I've had the Ultra Tone 8000 for 2 years and I'm still a fat bast**d.

I've emailed SuperAbs to ask about the differences between it and the Ultra Tone 8000 in case they knew for sure, but as Ultra Tone is not one of their products apparently they arent willing to answer any questions on it (something about it being an inferior chinese home market product not built to their exacting Super Abs quality control standards..)

That really is the whole point behind it. We should do some kind of case-study where we show this to experienced players and new ones and see the effect it has on them.

And on the Abs thing, I paint 80% more to get an American made MONSTERABS 90000 and it is still giving me the best abs.
It's FN F2000 not FN2000!

A company a year old can make a video that isn't craptastic. I never said ECHO1 is a terrible company, just that that that particular video wasn't terribly good.
