Morning all. Just been perusing RSOV for anything new, and there's a coup[le of things. CYMA Spetz, which, tbh, isn't realy that interesting, some small silencer, and...

A&K Railed feed cover for an M249.

I've been lurking around long enough to know that a cheap railed feed cover is kind of a holy grail for those that have a 249, what with 'proper' ones being pretty damned expensive.

So, I think that £16.99 should cause one or two people to indulge themselves and grab one, eh? smile.gif

Whats the normal scope to mount on an M249..... I'm assuming that this is what the cover is for (sorry if its a dumb question, new to M249s and I'm intrested in getting one)

Nver seen an M249 with an ACOG except in CoD4; though I'm sure that it could exist.

Elcan looks WAY better on it, though, IMO. I think you can get an ok replica from CA?

For that precision suppressing fire ! That's an oxymoron isn't it, like Military Inteligence or Standard Deluxe ?

Hate to be the one to say this but this is old news. The A&K feed cover has been available almost since their M249 was released in September last year.
In fact, I was in 2 minds whether to buy a Para or a Mk2 and a railed cover for it.

A: To get to the same side.

Or M2 .50 cal and sniper. Except, there was a sniper in 'nam who used a .50 cal M2 with a big-ass scope wink.gif

EDIT: bah. Well, it's the first I've seen of it being available separately; so it was news to me, at least happy.gif

Definitely an Elcan. Be warned tho they make things even heavier. And I'd stay away from the CA if I were you, I've never been that impressed with mine.

Believe it or not, some use their LMGs for actually hitting stuff in short bursts.
