Here's hoping the SR-25 Carbine is a copy of the G&P's internals (i.e. it can take all standard V2/M16 stuff)

Damnit, just as Ive built a decent spr, I hear about a cheap SR25! curses!

One note however, Doesnt $202 seem a bit expensive for A&k?

That's my thoughts on it too. No matter though, eventually the other wholesalers like Airsoft Zone will get them in too and AZ is typically far cheaper than Point Act. For an example Airsoft Zone has the JG M4 S System for $95, as opposed to the $128 it costs on Point Act, so if that trend continues, they oughta have them for around $150 or so.

I want one of the SR25s quite badly! I wonder if the inner barrel extends all the way through the silencer? That would be incredible.

A&K has never made metal bodies before... So we're left guessing.

If the metal bodies on these guns are up to the same quality as the ones on their SAWs-and the same with the gearbox-then they're worth the money.

They have a drum mag out for it now, and it says it'll fit the G&P, as well as the A&K, so, it might be a clone of the G&P

Well, if you still follow the 'one shot...one kill' strategy while using one of these, then, thats a hell of a lot of kills then.

AirsoftGI has the A&K SR25 and M16A4 on preorder (ETA 4/10), wich makes me believe thell be on Gunners and Rsov very soon.

As an apetizer, AirsoftGI put up a few pics to start rejoycing/whining about the externals.

As far as I have heard, the SR25 (and remember they will also release the URX or Sr25 Carbine version) it uses a regular Version 2 gearbox, with a longer nozzle, thus making upgrading easy and cheap. Anyway, regarding the FPS that chinese guns are coming at lately, I expect this guns to come in the 400 fps range already, wich is what most players want to have them at.

Edit: Ooooh!! Just noticed the price: 218$. Considering that the M249 costs 350$ and the M4 RIS 120-145$, I think we will see the SR25 for not much more than 130-150$ at gunners, rsov, wgc, ....
