Star just released a replica/copy of Zeiss/Hensholdt Z point reddot sight. Often seen on rs G36 handle with rail and MP7's. Can't tell if the "available light collector" on the top is a functioning feature or not? msrp $105USD. www.starairsoft.com

I wonder if its functional or a dummy replica?

For 105 bucks i sure as hell hope its at least some sort of mediocre red dot. biggrin.gif

There's a picture floating around of the hk m4 with the zeiss site. It looks absolutely amazing.

I wish i knew where the dang picture was.

The 'Standard Upgrade' mod for Ghost Recon on the PC gives all the M4's that sight. I like it, and I'm looking for a better RD for my P90 too.

Hmmm looks dirt cheap for me.

The real Z-Point is a very nice sight, but I would only recommend it for small arms and PDWs like the MP7A1. For use with a rifle or a carbine (also with the P90) i suggest to buy an EOTech.

Someone joked that M4s would like M16s in my hands, but I'm not that small. Yeah that guy must be pretty big or HK really slimmed out the M4.

Well its only about like 1 3/4" high so maybe like a 20-25mm objective its reticle is nice looks like an eotech only with a dot instead of a cross.
I have returned.
