I dont know if this deserves a post of its own, but meh... maybe the people from Kart (or some other chicom) read what players have to say and do the right thing.

Only the lower frame is flat chrome finished; upper handguard and rails are still black. Although this scheme does look nice, I hope this is a first step towards the correct finish.

looks pretty nice, A nice finish but I must agree, At least the companies are finally listening to us. Albeit ICS has started this treand, it good that other companies are starting to follow.

So it is real! o_0

I was going to post this a couple of days ago because apparently Kapowwe, a US retailer, got it before RSOV. But I found it hard to believe so just left it aside as their own store custom.

So is the frame aluminum? Or still the same 5 ton pot metal? Waiting for a nice EBR M14 Mod 1 (with M4 stock tube)

Its still going to be the same chinese newspapers and apple core garbage as usual. G&P makes a Mod 1 kit which is CNCed aluminum.

I own an EBR MK14 and I love it. It actually shoots better than anything else I have ever bought including Classic Army and Tokyo Mauri guns that I have owned.

I will agree there. After carrying it around for an 1 1/2 hour skirmish I was tuckered out.

Has anyone managed to find a magazine for these that reliably fire on full auto? I have tried the orgional mags, acm mags and even Tm mags and just can't stop it skipping.

I bought four KA mags for my KART EBR and they all feed perfectly. They're the 70rders though, not the 110rd mags.

I really want one of these, but all my friends who got them say the look fantastic, weigh a tonne but are totally ###### for shooting, out of I guess ten who bought them not one now uses it sad.gif
But a voice inside my heads still says BUY IT biggrin.gif

Are they Ok to strip and do internal upgrades too?

Pele

Got mine today, got it off kapowwe in the broken section, lol the electrical switch was broken, i super glued it back together (didnt feel like soldering on a new switch) and it fires great. Brand new for $112 shipped. Oh also i did the PMC (sprite can like red wolf says) and it went thru the bottom and left a crack/indent in the upper right bottom. So Im assuming its shooting around 440fps

I obviously had to strip it down, it wasnt too bad, the hand gaurd comes off, the upper ris gets removed, then the trigger guard like normal, and a plate on the pistol grip by the stock tubes comes off, then you have to wiggle (really wiggle) it out of the stock. Internal upgardes I havent done but the selector switch stuff on the gearbox itself is easy to get down, its just a long process to completely get the gearbox by itsself.
Need Thompson cocking knob, PM me
