It appears to be a VSR10 with m3 scope, harris bipod, and one of those m40a3 adjustable cheek pieces.

Looks great. :D

How do you go about attaching those cheek pieces to your stock? I've wanted one for a while to make my aps slightly more interesting. Not that they arent passionately designed to start with :P

Ah as simple as that! ok great. Thanks Maveric. :)

I'll be getting some pics up of mine soon, once i get everything together. But they wont be any where near as amazing as half the sniper rifles in this thread.

What scope is that?

Edit: Nvm, I figured it out.  BTW, do you actually find a use for the laser? or does it just look tacticool?  I love that word, tacticool.

It's useful as well as tacticool (nice word indeed)

But don't use it all the time. It can help you for measurements, spotting, blinding, etc.. .

(although that one isn't allowed)

@ Babybackribs: is that a gas or spring rifle? what's its performance in numbers?

well the barrel is 6 inches shorter than original but it doesnt seem to effect it too greatly, fitting a tightbore to compensate however.

the barrel lenght is custom

i cut down the outer to 3 inches from the stock, and fitted a kac style silencer over the inner and outer (widened the hole to take into acount that the outer aint 14mm diameter. with some silenceing ability still left in 2 inches of foam around the exit of the inner before the muzzle.

its basicaly attached to the end of the silencer which was drilled and screwed to the outer at that point, so detachable, but not... if you catch my drift.

simple but visually and somewhat practically nice little mod, it certainly makes the gun more pointable as im mainly an urban player, and even when indoors, a long barrel inhibits movement when useing my sidearm (ie on my back). plus it reduces raising time comeing around a corner to engage a target, the loss of accuracy and rage is largely not too important as engagement ranges are neerer, than open woodland.

That is very nicely done. Simple but handy, as you said, you use it for urban games.

The way you installed the silencer gave me an idea.

My PSG-1 with silencer has a length of 1.393 mm. I'm going to try the same as you did.

I won't be losing accuracy though (it has a 650MM 4.03 Promethues inner barrel).

i got the idea from my m4, i have a 110mm silencer (double ended + and - wise...) and if i take the +ive thread end off, i can screw it on backwards, makeing the gun look like its a 10.3 commando lenght barrel with a silencer on, while maintaining the accuracy and range of the longer barrel :)

Bah, tripple post action I guess, since no one has posted in this thread in a while.

So here are some new pics of my VSR with the non-functional long .223 mag that I modded in.

So this is purely for looks, but I wanted something to set my VSR appart from the scores of others, and also I was bored several nights ago

As you guys can see I've given it a long mag in .223 (which is appropriate for a Remington 700). I really like the looks of it and it turned out better than I could have expected. Very solid. So yeah, just for the look, but that's 75% of airsoft for me anyway, the looks. The dimentions of the mag also match the ejection port so it looks real good in that regard.

Cheers!
