I checked Gunner's today and saw these new guns. The ARMY Glock 17 looks fantastic. Full trades, metal slide, and all that. Plus the metal slide just looks a whole lot... I don't know how to say it, but cleaner(?) than the Meister Glock.

http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/produ...ed32cc2bcd9a345

Army seems to be following a strange path for a Chinese airsoft manufacturer. Their first gun is an AK-47, their second is a full-steel L85A1, and their third gun is a full-metal GBB

[url="http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1003&osCsid=8f1ab7e5b75a494a4ed32cc2bcd9a345"[/url]

Now what I find strange here is that the full-metal Bell 1911 is only $5 more expensive than the plastic one...

I'd wager that the price difference will be more than $5 if you buy it from a U.S. retailer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The Glock looks nice, but the trades seem a bit shallow and hard to see.

(And what I really want is a G18).

Interesting, very interesting. The Badger may be enticed to get one of these should he come upon any money in the near future...

I don't like 17's because there's no full auto. They need to make a full auto one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Meh, I got a plastic M1911 clone and I'm perfectly happy with it. If the need arises I might try the metal one.

The new 1911 looks lovely!
I'm kinda suspicious as it only costs a few dollars more than the plastic version...

I'd really like to see a review comparing the army G17 to the Meister. Now they just need to clone the p226 and hi capas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think the new STTI gun that's posted on the Airsoftnews.eu looks like a Hi-Capa clone...I mean its even got a TK tactical grip installed...

I too wonder how these G17 clones size up to the Mariu or even the KSC. I like my KWA G26C, but I find the lack of a working trigger safety disappointing.
