oooh, me likey. It does look a bit midnight bluish, might just be the pics though, either it looks good. Snowman, in your experience, how well do the finishes hold up on tanakas?

I had an older Tanaka Super Redhawk Casull in Midnight Blue finish and it already had scratches on the surface before I even opened the box. So, at least back then the finish didn't hold very well. Shame though, since it looks really good and it was by far the most realistic airsoft gun finish I had ever seen. I'm not sure if Tanaka has improved the finish durability with this new "Steel Finish" terminology.
Continuously looking for broken (as long as the sound board works) Master Replicas Force FX lightsabers. Also interested in Parks or Larbel hilts.
PM me if you have one for sale!

It's probably not up to skirmishing, but if you want a collector's piece, I've never seen a better finish.

Mine's looked after and not scratched (and it's had the knock whilst shooting, but it's never, for instance, been dropped on concrete) - The only scratch is where the indexer (I know that's the wrong name, but it's early smile.gif ) engages with the cylinder leaving that thin silver line, but every S&W revolver I've seen (real or Tanaka) has the same mark.

Cheers.

didnt they discontinue midnight blue and change to midnight gold? maybe this will be a more durable, improved re-release of the much nicer midnight blue.
