A few days ago a very nice chinese contact announced the coming of an FDE (flat dark earth, I believe) Acog. Excitedly enough I inmediately posted the news on this forum and now we are finally able to actually get one... or maybe not.
So you know what I mean, here's a link to a real FDE Acog (Trijicon TA01 ECOS): http://kentuckianafirearmstraining.com/ima...d_Dots_CCDW.jpg and here one to what we're getting: http://www.rsov.com/product/0/1836/p_ACM-A...x32R-earth.html Not perfect and I sure hope they combine it with a Docter optic in coming batches, but hey: just think of how much ass this will kick ones you fit it on your Dboys SCAR-Heavy version!!! Heres hoping they make a magnified version instead of this red dot ######.

Amen to that, brother. I really want all this "no magnification" crud to stop. x2, x4 is even better. Throw us a friggin bone.

I may have to order one of these. My FDE fetish is kicking in again.
-------------------- QUOTE Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape. mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course. -Certa Cito on Wannabe |

They got the FDE all wrong. Too golden, It just looks like it belongs in a Mayan temple.
Regardless if it's magnified it's worth taking a look at. -------------------- |

FDE doesn't look too bad to me. Not perfect, but the RS guys usually miss the mark, too. No magnification is what makes this a travesty.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I've been waiting for this! I wish it was magnified, had the doctor sight already and had the correct ARMS attachment. Oh well, maybe a magnified version will come out soon. The real steel one IS "golden-brown"

Sorry x2 is too much for airsoft?! What are you playing with, a blow pipe? My m14/16 work rather nicely with x4 in woodland obviously.
