I want to get one of these, take the launcher off and attatch a Bi-pod, vert grip, sniper scope, PEQ box and a flashlight to this bad boy.

I think you would need a different trigger module. Notice that one doesn't have the gap for a rifle mag.

Yes since the Star is a copy of the VFC they fit no prob on each. The Star EGLM didn't like the CA SCAR w/o modifications. Did a little write up here back in April/2008

And yeah hate to be a buzz kill but the Star standalone unit doesn't look like it will work on a SCAR due to the missing magwell spacers.

it looks like the trigger unit attaches to the launcher with a couple bolts, it's possible that all you'd need is a different "rear end" (one with just a trigger and one with the trigger and magwell) to make them interchangeable.

i'm just saying from looking at the pics it sounds like you've held one in your hands, so your word is the final say

No, I think you are right. On the real steel version, the trigger module is just a bolt on. You have ones that are spaced for .308 mags, 5.56 mags, and not spaced at all.

I just hope Star will either include the other trigger modules or sell them seperately.

Oh hell. Who I am kidding? I'd still wait for VFC just because the color is so much better.

Edit to add: Man, that EGLM rail mounted sight would look cool on a SCAR though.

You do know that the links you gave show the launcher with a cradle, the cradle doesn't fire anything, it just makes holding the launcher easier for you if you don't want it on a gun

I might still get it though since it's cheaper than the VFC 203 and other cradle mounted launchers

It would also look right in it's place on my FAMAS after being modded to fit aswell (yes, I am saying it looks pretty ugly)

But the black one really rocks!! And i have incoming a STAR SCAR-H in black colour. In two weeks i´ll post my first impressions with this AEG.
