If these poseiden kits weren't so expensive I'd be tempted to do so.

Pretty, but not from GITS. Not even by Shirow.
Though if you should really have one, they sell it cheaper direct from Poseidon. But they don't sell overseas though so you'll need the help of some third party.

it's the guy the shoot then try to talk to in the yakuzu bar prior to the crabclaw cyborg fight. Butu or whatever the big guy's name was comments on how inaccurate it is when the guy pointed it at Butu and the cop guy.

EDIT: Just looked for it. it's at 36mins into the film. It's not the same gun, the stock is upside side down. It's probably the same arrangement as the G18/M93R with stock.

This kit has been out for a few months. This was orignally designed for Poseidon's M93R Custom Parts Competition.

Also, here's a breakdown of what anime/video game series a Poseidon gun was actually designed for or not.

No more need to blindly say, "It was in Ghost in the Shell!"
