We have completed the final touches to our airsoft grenade, effectively increasing the strength of the unit without adversely affecting the burst pattern, minor re-shaping of the burst charge ensures absolutely 100% reliability.

I am waxing lyrically about the unit but of course I am the manufacturer so it might be said that I would anyway!!!....If anyone out there is prepared to conduct a field trial for us seriously and objectively then I will be more than happy to provide free of charge samples for that purpose, serious approaches only please.

The products have undergone full safety testing so I am not asking for anything dangerous - I simply want a level headed, honest opinion from airsoft enthusiasts who take the activity seriously, in my opinion that is the only way we can end up with a product suitable for the marketplace.

For the record, noise output is 120dB @ 5m, fregmentation is fully degradable and low density (less than 5g per fragment) scatter is 360 degrees from burst point to a range of 10m. The payload is either dried peas or bentonite (clay) chippings.

The units are virtually crush resistant in normal use and despite the brittle nature of the paper pulp body are shatter proof prior to function owing to the inclusion of a reinforcing ring which triples the bonding strength between both halves of the body.

I am sorry of this is a tad commercial - this is not my intention.

Oh, um, yes I want to do field tests also , I might be able to get my local field and store, Airsoft CQB, to purchase them on a larger amount.......

The waxing makes them mostly invunruble to water correct?  And what is the grenade arming technique?  The Airsofthandgrenades.com versions are too weak for or fields and players, are they more powerful in a comparative test?

I will also be very willing to test out this hand grenade.

If you choose to allow me to test out the grenade, send me a PM and we can go into further details.

I am sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone who has shown an interest.

Things are VERY busy indeed at the factory and we are having to run double shifts to keep up 2 / 3 evenings a week.

SAMPLES: I can only provide test samples for evaluation in the U.K. AT THE MOMENT.

We are working on getting the stuff into the states but this requires a separate classification to the one which has been obtained in the U.K. - it is ridiculous that in this day and age the explosives authorities in two countries cannot simply accept one anothers word, the end result will be the same but in the meantime there are hurdles to be jumped.

We are still around - very much so, we are producing and supplying and Graham in Liverpool, I have emailed you seperately - stuff is ready and I need to arrange to get it to you.

Damn, that sucks. I do have to agree with the firework restrictions to each country, and even each state. Hell, people in the state i live in use pyro fireworks all the time. Its the maturity and responcibility you treat the items with. Good luck. And if you get some to me before May 21st, i could still do it! (May 21st is going to be the game im gonna test them at)

Love to try and get some stuff out to you - Spain does have its difficulties but if you are able to help us get the gear to you we will be only too happy to do business.

Will email you direct as I may be breaking the rules by posting something too commercial.

Just wanna point out that in America not all localities allow firecrackers, and I know that these are not gonna be cool at most CQB facilities (i.e. ACQB, Cinder). That said, if they are SAFE and EFFECTIVE, I'm all for it.

I'd love to test a few, too. Let me know what you can do.

I'll maybe get a chance to take them to my local site and see what the regulars there think of them, and see if the marshalls would allow them (any new grenades have to be checked).

Well, if you get them classified correctly let me know. I still have a game on May 21st and could run threw a few field test. How safe are they? Hold in your hand and be fine? Or hold in hand and have no more hand?

Heck I'd test them too, even though I've already bought some from AirsoftScotland.com

Does anyone here know of any other retailers that sell bb grenades and deliver them?

Cheers

Quote

"This, I realized now watching Dienekes rally and tend to his men, was the role of the officer: to prevent those under his command, at all stages of battle – before, during, and after – from becoming “possessed.” To fire their valor when it flagged and rein in their fury when it threatened to take them out of hand. That was Dienekes’ job. That was why he wore the transverse-crested helmet of an officer. His was not, I could see now, the heroism of an Achilles. He was not a superman who waded invulnerably into the slaughter, singlehandedly slaying his foe by myriads. He was just a man doing his job. A job whose primary attribute was self-restraint and self-composure, not for his own sake, but for those he led by his example. A job whose objective could be boiled down to the single understatement, as he did at the Hot Gates on the morning he died, of “performing the commonplace under uncommonplace conditions."
-Steven Pressfield, Gates of Fire
