Redwolf Airsoft has the New Marui AKS74U on preorder for $$379.99

AKS74U

60 Round Cap? I thought they were spoced to be compatible with the AK-74MN magazines but I guess not.

I check WGC and Redwolf daily, this wasn't there last night for sure

It may be that TM have actually made a new mag in the bakelite style and made it 60 rounds??

I hope these are good and are compatable with the AK74MN hi-caps as i will get one.

It wouldn't be the first time RW was incorrect about the mag capacity of a pre-order new release... I'm not saying that's necessarily the case, but it's more likely than TM developing a completely new mag design for this gun when they just introduced the AKM mags not that long ago.

The mags hold 74 rounds and to me it looks 100% the same as the TM AK74MN mags, just a different color that's all. There's a hicap and standard magazine for the AK74MN available already, and the same mags will be available for the TM AKS74U in bakelite color.

I got to fondle one of these babies today and it's really full metal in the actual meaning, including the part behind the handguards.

Shot the AK74MN version last night. The recoil engine made me thing of a pneumatic stapler or nail gun.

Regardless, if I can't track down a VFC AK74U I'll have the TM flavor shown here.
