I was taking a stroll through Gunner's forum and noticed he posts news about up-coming products and proyects.

Here's what I found:

1) Proyect Galil: its going to be full-steel, but its still far away from finished.
http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/forum/viewtop...hp?f=3&t=90

2) 100% TM copy Gas blowback P226: looks pretty nice. Plastic, but I bet theyll make it metal if they sell this one right.
http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/forum/viewtop...p?f=3&t=370

3) Handgrenades. they shoot powder, not BBs. 20$ each, but they're reusable.
http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/forum/viewtop...p?f=3&t=369

4) Cyma's new MP5 line: Lots of metal!
Three models:

- with UMP stock and railed handguard (not ras)

- with RAS and full stock

- MP5 J

Hmm, a cheap copy of the PFI grenade. They can be made to fire bbs but the result is poor, the smoke is a laugh though so i may have to pick a couple of those up when they come out smile.gif

Hopefully their p226 mags have a better seal and won't leak like the current ones do.

According to their site, the Galil will come with magazines that are of the correct shape and style. Wonder if it would work in my TSI Galil... mellow.gif

I wonder who's making the P226. The thing is, I dont see anyone going for this when there is already the KJW version that is full metal and a copy of the TM as well.

Galil is promising, they're certainly a bit under-represented in the Airsoft world. Hopefully one of the models will be the ARM, I always liked that one.

The Galil is definitely good to see from an options point of view, not entirely my cup of tea though personally. The 226 is pretty interesting though, if it's decent could save me some money over the TM.

yay, more mp5 options!

Wish they'd make a few of the standard models, rather than the stickle-brick varieties... (saying that, the ump stock RIS version would be perfect to strap an ANPEQ and a launcher onto. mwuuuhahahahahaaaaa!), but its good to see them develop this line more.

ergh, saying that, just took a look at the RIS on the UMP-stock mp5- yuk, that's gotta go... would look so much better with the RAS from the full-stock version...

please god let them bring out a MAR... might even buy a SAR at a push if it grows on me. but i'm in love with the MAR.

the RAS on that UMP stocked MP5 is weird, if you took the rails off it'd probably look like a smooth version of the old school cylindrical MP5 handguards.

Thats weird. The RAS on the Cyma has been around on a rebranded MP5 found here in the states for a few months.

I know that they are rebranded Cymas anyways. Could it be something they put out a while ago for this model and its finally made its way onto more mainstream releases?

At first I was like.

"Wahooo! Chinese Galil!"

Then I realized.

"CNC? suitcase that's gonna be expensive!"

Lets say, just the receiver is CNC'd... how big of an price increase can that be? 100$? If the full metal gun were about 100-150$ (based on other chinese full metal/steel AK's price) this could come out for maybe 200-250$.

if they've gone to the effort to CNC it there might be the tiny chance that it'll have a functioning thumb selector like the TSI *crosses fingers*
unlikely, but you never know.

Hopefully I'll be able to afford this Galil, to tide me over until I can afford a TSI one ((which will probably have to be second hand...)).

Any potential release dates?

I own a real galil and holy ######, that receiver looks identical to the real thing though the scope mount looks "slightly" different on mine, it looks like these are cast receivers whereas the real galil is milled.
