Airsoft Global added the new Tanaka SAA to its stock today. The new model, using new Cassiopeia gas-charged shells, weighs only 20 grams less than its cylinder-loaded counterpart and costs 162 dollars a piece. Additional shells are sold for 46 dollars in packs of six.

There's a vid of this somewhere on youtube. after all the gas he was filling into each shell, I expected a really loud shot... what a disappointment.

There's a video review of this in the reviews section by Fat Hammer (the review is a youtube clip).

Seeing this almost makes me want to buy a revolver. If I see a used one I think that I will go for it.

I would not mind a shell-fed Python or Umbrella revolver next.

Apart from that, nice kit.

Seconded. I would certainly buy one of those!

chrono-ed it today, shooting from 315 to 290 on green gas, pretty big variations...

i didn't get a chance to see on 134A, but i'm guessing its probably like 210-230

just a quick question, would anybody like to see a breakdown of the actual shells?

i took one apart, and i don't want to do a write up if nobody wants it

fairly simple system BTW, i will be giving the parts to a shop, and will see how much it would cost to make about 50
