(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) When I looked at it, I was pretty excited and didn't pay attention to detail. But that has to be one of the stupidest mistakes VFC has ever made. C'mon VFC. Oh god damnit! I've been waiting months for this, the perfect E3. Then they go *fruitcage* it up!

Guys chill out, you can see it's a 15 not a 16 because of the agressive bend at the front of the numeral in question. Or so at least it appears to me in the picture.
I think I might actullay get this if I can sell my current home made SR15. This post has been edited by sc0rp10n: Oct 30 2008, 01:13 PM -------------------- Always outnumbered, Never outgunned - Semper Fi

Well considering the price, you'd expect them to get those details right.... But then again, the real SR-15 IWS doesn't have any trades on the upper, so a can of krylon/duracoat/alumahyde/whathave you should fix thet.... Lets hope they didn't crew up the lower's engraving too...... That definitely looks like SR-16.... Either way, having the lettinging engraved into the upper makes it wrong. I am dissapointed VFC (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Well that makes me happy, now my SR-15 is more correct than the rest and is still unique (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
ON a side note, pinned mag catch is kewl (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by Vercingetorix: Oct 30 2008, 01:19 PM -------------------- ![]() mmmmmmmm tadgear :p |

I think I might actullay get this if I can sell my current home made SR15. It's definately a 16, look at the left hand border of the pic second from the bottom of each link. I'm not fussed either way, it looks lovely , nothing Krylon won't fix. This post has been edited by TwinTurboCH: Oct 30 2008, 01:35 PM |

I think its safer to say that until a picture is taken thats not low resolution (thus allowing a good zooming) and not taken at a rediculously tight perspective its all a bit of speculation. Im not going to state its either, but I dont think VFC would overlook that. Supposing it IS a 16, maybe VFC sent a copy to WGC for pictures using the sr16 receiver because they didnt have their 15 receivers done yet. Just a thought.

From what i heard, the SR16 is not a real gun. The real steel gun is the SR15, i guess VFC just wants to avoid a lawsuit...

Its nothing special to me. What I AM interested in is how they worked up a leftie selector. I know King Arms has one, but I figured it was purely cosmetic.
