However it has the wrong knob on the stock, no ambidextrous controls, no silencer and wrong trademark. It should be in FDE/sand color but whatever... I'm happy that they came out with a complete gun instead of having to buy the individual parts.

We have a serious case of fail here.
My guess is that the correct gun isnt ready yet and they thought they could sell a few guns for the impatients in the meanwhile.

I'm Selling something similar on the UK sales thread if anyone is interested. A&K based. Will be much cheaper.
(sorry for turning news into a selling strategy but if it makes someone happy, whats the trouble.)
thanks.

The mag release is ambidextrous though, if thats any compensation.
Let me put it this way, you could rage every day for the rest of your life and you still couldn't rage like me.

I'd use the term ambi with G&P's ambi catches very lightly. Myself and most people I've encountered who have used them have found them to be inconsistent in holding the mag in place as the spring on the left side isn't strong enough.
A good ambi is the KAC SR16/SR15 style HurricanE and VFC have implemented on their receivers. It's a different design altogether and it works great.

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.
mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

Hmm, which stock knob are you talking about ?
The silencer should be available soon, and that's an accessory.
Agreed though on the wrong trademarks and the non-ambidextrous controls.

That's a much nicer alternative to the normal SR-25 IMO
