I think some Hobby show is on in Japan now....Marui is showcasing their long speculated blow back AEG M4, and a new variant of Hi-Capa, which from a TW forum its a full auto version of 4.3.....I'd be interested in a blowback M4 AEG....especially if it is metal(even if it is pot metal) stock....

Real buffer tubes ahoy!
OF course this would make all our current TM based ars obsolete

Looks very nice though, might well have to invest in one, especially if they stop firing on empty mags, which it looks like they do, budget PTW anyone??

Judging from this picture, it looks like that the "M4A1 SOPMOD" has its own special magazines.
Let's hope that TM had the wisdom to make their newest rifle backward-compatible in terms of magazines.

The quality of the machining looks top notch too, even taking into account that it's a show sample. Can't imagine that coming in cheap & cheerful though. Such is life
Might have to try & afford one of those when they hit the streets. Been thinking about a shorter M4 of late...

But of course this is just in time to barely catch the PTW/MTW lines from Ino and Systema. Now if TM could figure out a way to make the version two gear box more robust in the cold....and not snap the front end off like a candy cane!

I wonder what the powers like on it though because unless they put a ridiculously powerful spring in then won't the nozzle screw the fps up
Wait this is a version 10 gearbox, well at least they made it that far unlike classics where there were only 3 versions, worm gear(toytec) BV and escort type

I'd put money in the fps being about 280 - 300
It does look quite interesting, hopefully it'll be reliable and give a reasonable kick otherwise it'll just turn out to be another failure >_<

The capacity sucks and im sure the discharge rate is poo but man, TM has a certain...flair about them when it comes to designing battery systems. Its very toylike but at he same time ingenious.
I really want more information about this replica. Im excited only because its something new but at the same time horribly disappointed because its new and probably overly complicated. Im all for innovation but not at the expense of durability so here's hoping that marui takes durability concerns to heart and makes a robust rifle.
