RacingManiac
http://lagunshop.militaryblog.jp/e39245.html I think some Hobby show is on in Japan now....Marui is showcasing their long speculated blow back AEG M4, and a new variant of Hi-Capa, which from a TW forum its a full auto version of 4.3.....I'd be interested in a blowback M4 AEG....especially if it is metal(even if it is pot metal) stock.... Vercingetorix
that is really cool! Real buffer tubes ahoy! OF course this would make all our current TM based ars obsolete Thats alot of money gone.....
TwinTurboCH
Love this one, with the very obvious 'no photographs' sign attached LOL Looks very nice though, might well have to invest in one, especially if they stop firing on empty mags, which it looks like they do, budget PTW anyone?? DarkLite
Interesting on that M4, the spring seems to be partly in the buffer tube. ALSO PX4 GBB OH F**K YES
kodiak22
oh yea i think i found my first gun , but anyone know if you can use aftermarket bodies? and it takes its own mags? well that sucks it their anyway it might take normal mags? i would love some Pmags with this lol
The Saint
Holy cow, is the nozzle seriously almost 3" long?
Reborn
Judging from this picture, it looks like that the "M4A1 SOPMOD" has its own special magazines. Let's hope that TM had the wisdom to make their newest rifle backward-compatible in terms of magazines.
Mikeiw
That blow-back engine looks rather interesting.. does anyone yet have an idea how it works? The quality of the machining looks top notch too, even taking into account that it's a show sample. Can't imagine that coming in cheap & cheerful though. Such is life Might have to try & afford one of those when they hit the streets. Been thinking about a shorter M4 of late...
ruvon
I've seen lots of mags for m-4s...wouldn't the feed lips be visible through the package? Those two mags just don't look like normal mags to me.... But of course this is just in time to barely catch the PTW/MTW lines from Ino and Systema. Now if TM could figure out a way to make the version two gear box more robust in the cold....and not snap the front end off like a candy cane!
terrorist killer
Looks like TM's attempt at a reliable electric WA M4 which is to big not to small like the wa I wonder what the powers like on it though because unless they put a ridiculously powerful spring in then won't the nozzle screw the fps up Wait this is a version 10 gearbox, well at least they made it that far unlike classics where there were only 3 versions, worm gear(toytec) BV and escort type
Abelius
Hmm, am I wrong assuming that that system will give recoil forwards? If the spring is compressed and at the same time it compresses the recoil weight spring, the effect when released is going to be a movement forward because the weight will slap into it's forward position. Hopefully I'm not right.
Utty
You got your regular hi-capa, then you got your dual tone hi-capa, then you got your HI-CAPA XTREME FULLAUTO ONLY!!! X-TREEEEEMUH!!!! (cranks Sepultura) PX4 eh? Nice one! Something to look forward to in 10 years time. Holy cow, is the nozzle seriously almost 3" long? Ach, I've seen longer.
Rob15
Looks like TM's attempt at a reliable electric WA M4 which is to big not to small like the wa I wonder what the powers like on it though because unless they put a ridiculously powerful spring in then won't the nozzle screw the fps up I'd put money in the fps being about 280 - 300 It does look quite interesting, hopefully it'll be reliable and give a reasonable kick otherwise it'll just turn out to be another failure >_<
pat.l
The M4 looks to be a very promising release, I might have to hold off getting a WA M4 to see what this is like first. Maybe the nozzle is that long so when/if the bolt cycles it doesnt just show a gearbox behind, but a semi empty hole for a bit more realism.
angel_wings
I'll hold out getting an M4 now, see if this is any good! Also, is that a PC356? GBB? Good stuffs! Wings
RacingManiac
looks like a EBB since it says for age 10 and up...
Lance Jackass
http://www.militaryblog.jp/usr/lagunshop/m4_2.jpg Looks like aworking bolt release catch and something going on at the back of each mag ptw style.
Magsz
Anyone else think the batteries look...awesome? The capacity sucks and im sure the discharge rate is poo but man, TM has a certain...flair about them when it comes to designing battery systems. Its very toylike but at he same time ingenious. I really want more information about this replica. Im excited only because its something new but at the same time horribly disappointed because its new and probably overly complicated. Im all for innovation but not at the expense of durability so here's hoping that marui takes durability concerns to heart and makes a robust rifle.
alex21
Tokyo Marui juste made my day! I wanted so bad a blow back M4 and I rely on them to give us a very good product
Catman
Interesting, I can only assume this M4 will be better than their AK recoil-engined offering - which is actually not bad, I was quite impressed with it

night hunter
The M4 looks rather generic, they could have alteast picked a more original set up. A generic M4 RIS with crane stock looks overpriced especially with non moving bolt versions being pumped out cheap by the acm companies.
uscmCorps
The mags are a new design. It looks like they're very close to actual RS Mag length (look at the additional height above the mag catch hole vs. a regular M4 AEG mag). And because these mags are longer like a real mag, they can accomodate more BBs. Hicap says 430 rounds, and standard says 82 rounds. Also, looking at the way it is designed, it looks like the nozzle might directly engage the BBs sitting at the top of the mag like in a PTW. That, plus the notation on the bolt catch feature makes me think that this might be TM's version of the PTW... possibly with last round bolt lock?
kodiak22
aw i really wanted this but i really wanted to have pmags , but anyone know how to email TM, just to see if it it backwards compatible with nomal mags?
Lance Jackass
You'd rather have P mags than a working last round bolt stop function?
