You think ? the value of curency has nothing to do with it, back in the day there was very few retailers, no competition so prices stayed high, the Internet becoming more available and easier to access, more shops opening and more people taking up Airsoft due to Airsoft becoming more noticable (yay internet ) and less underground the price came down, that is the only reason why, if retailers could still get off with charging $450 for a TM rifle (old style) they would, I was £250 for an MP5K in 1997/8 that was about $400 back then, some small niche corner type model shops still try to sell AEGs at that price here, thanks to the internet that's a rare sight though. K12azy13astard Posted November 24, 2009 Report Share Posted November 24, 2009 You can remove one of the sling hard points that the handguard rests on, and move them back to one of the hex screws near the stock. The lenght of the screw is short, so it's not holding anything vital under it. I just did it myself in a few minutes. Really easy. I'll posts pictures when I can. Link to post Share on other sites

I think most manufactures list the fps so that's one way. For the most part assume that all of the available A&K ones now have the 300fps! I've got 2 of the 400+ versions (well they were both 430+ w/ .25's out of the box). They both came with the solid (non-window) highcaps. I picked the 2nd one up 3 months after I got the first one.
