Rather than yet more tight barrels, what somebody needs to develop and bring out is more choice in improved hop systems for the PTW. AEG users get lots of options, but PTW people either get stuck with the original or have to make there own!

Gap in the market for somebody there.

If it's hop-up you want for your PTW, give Tackleberry a shout on the PTW forum. Tell him that Windibob recommended him to you.

Yes, I have a tac modded hop already thanks. I'm talking about something a bit more radical than working with the current unit in the way tac does. Believe me, I've tried a lot of things including using a chopped down metal pen spring instead of the hop packings, and various different materials for the roller itself.

What I mean is we need a CNC, well designed, ingeniuos, highly crafted entire replacement unit, not more barrels.

TBH I make you right. But it's a problem that we've had to live with for years. Perhaps the manufacturers just think that such a product just wont be cost effective?

For 1500 bucks it should come with a barrel like that AND a GREAT hopup unit.

Thanks for your highly constructive input there, I don't know where we would have been without your razor sharp observation.
