I am so glad I held off on this one! I will SO be getting one now. I hope they are smart and offer a version with x2 mags, the gun case, HSS lanyard and a suppressor, like they did with the black one!

It looks like it comes with the HSS lanyard and one mag. Looks sweet though, looks like number one priority for a sidearm for me smile.gif

I tried it the other day, and it's very tight. It will go until it has about an inch to go, then gets stuck. I'm not 100% on where it's binding up at yet. I'm going to have to go at it with a dremel.

So is it safe to presume they've ditched their Wilson Combat 1911? :/

I've had my eye on those socom pistols for a while now.
I wonder how good they are. Hm let's google smile.gif

BTW didn't they bring out the wilson combat already last year?

Yeah, but most places are out of stock or were however I am a bit of a doubter when it comes to 'online' stock generally. Plus with in a peroid of months they have brought out.

-The MEU (Soc)
-The MEU (Soc) With supressor/silencer(/whatever's hip to call them these days) Laynard and case.
-This.

Not trying to rain on anyones parade and while this does look a little interesting I did like the Wilson one more so. :/

Also I've just noticed talking about the Wilson compared to the 'first' version of the meu this uses the wilson frame. laugh.gif

I actually heard good things about them for the most part. That is to say, people that have actually owned them as opposed to the usual WE thrashers. Again though, just things "heard" tongue.gif

Looks like you may be able to fit a PEQ/15 on that rail. In FDE of course biggrin.gif

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

QFT...

I actually haven't had too bad an experience with WE pistols. Mostly, it's just I get a crappy mag every now and then but they are skirmishable pieces...

The socomgear MEU special edition in tan comes with tan HSS gear lanyard and a thread adapter, it still has the internal threading and the adapter is for 14mm ccw.

I'm really not a WE fan by any measure, but this is awfully tempting. I've been missing my old WA MEU quite a bit. Not the cheap plastic feel, laughable finish, or anemic blowback, but the MEUness of it, so this might fill that gap.
