Just had a wee poke at gunner, and it seems that WELL has finally released long mags for their Clone GBB MP5k.

Linketh: http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/produ...roducts_id=1757

This is all kinds of win and awesome, as it means I can finally do a proper Full-size GBB MP5 without the mags looking silly biggrin.gif

Also good news for Maruzen K owners, as these clock in at a mere US$19 each (that's GB£11, for us brits!), much cheaper than the originals.

Gunner states they only hold 35 rounds, but I get the feeling that's either wrong or changeable with enough work.

well, sorry to break it to you, but the mags only hold 36 rounds. if you can widen the BB track, i guess you can fit more, dont really know what makes them 36 rounds.

they have been out at a few american stores for a while.

i have been waiting for them to hit HK, much cheaper.

I dont understand how the real ones can hold 30 shots of 9mm and the fake ones can only hold 36 shots of 6mm... the gas tank taking up space or sommat? Prolly a stupid observation but still... annoying...

Tell me your kidding right. tongue.gif

I had these magazines 2 weeks after the gun came out. They have been on Airsoftglobal.com this whole time. (I think RSOV.com too.)

For what it's worth. Don't buy. They bend super easy at the top of the bb loader. The magazine starts to want to spread in half at the lips. Spend double $ and get Maruzen brand.

edit: ohh yeah totally right btw. I could only get 23-24 bbs max.

If you can even find the Maruzen brand I would gladly temporarily praise you.

Are the seals on the larger mags any better? Bunch of my teammates got the MP5k when it came out and the mags leak quite badly.

They had them at AEX San Diego store the other day. It is weird with them though. sometimes On line it shows out of stock but they will have like ten in their stores. This is because the warehouse inventory is sometimes different then the store.

I would email and ask when they're getting them again. If not, import.

Also, I thought at one point RSOV had the long mags too, but they don't seem to have it listed, which is odd, since usually it just changes to "discontinued" rather than being completely removed. I guess I must have been imagining things.
