Oh I thought you were asking a general question: to which the answer would be, overpriced goods, rubbish customer service, and by all accounts technical staff who dont know what theyre doing :)

You missed out long shipping times, overpriced shipping and the worst/unfriendliest brick and mortar airsoft shopping experience bar none.

;)

Ordered a part on Tuesday but still haven't been invoiced for it. Don't they want my custom?... <_< Their ordering "system" sucks balls.

Everything.

At the risk of sounding patronising, but you seemed like a well informed chap, most people know that you want to keep away from Wolf more then you want to keep away from a herpes ridden, menthol cigarette smoking women that asks you for a lift to Swidon.

+1000000000000000000000000000

I was treated like a leper when I visited.

I don't know if the asian guys in the back room were the owners, but they were the problem for sure. I am being specific here and not racist when I say the western europeam guy I spoke to on the front desk was really nice and almost turned it around.

I felt genuinly insulted by the way I was treated by the guys in the back room. I had money to spend and would have happily dropped some cash had the prices not been a total rip off and the staff so rude.

FWIW, I had this exact problem with Wolf ages ago.

I wanted to buy a gun bag and only 2 places had it in stock. Wolf and (ironically enough) Airsoft Dynamics.

I ordered from AD who promptly shut down (I still miss their website for reference purposes) and so I ordered from Wolf.

After 2 weeks of waiting for the order to go through I saw another retailer had the bag back in stock.

Phoned Wolf and cancelled the order.

Ordered my bag (from A2, IIRC) and received it 3 days later.

2 weeks later (a month after ordering) I get another bag through the post and a quick check reveals that £30 has been debited from my credit card. <_<

In the end I kept it and flogged it to a mate.

Arsey? no. Just impolite if you can get them to talk to you.

Plus your pretty much made to feel unwelcome.

I went in to buy a Tanaka SAA.

Saw about 3 of them on display and a neat pile of about 5 SAA boxes (full ones not display ones)

Me: Have you got any Tanaka SAA's in stock?

Them: No

Me: But there's like 5 boxes over there, can't I buy one of them?

Them: No They're not for sale.

Me: So why leave them out?

Them: No reply.

I just said *fruitcage* it and walked out.

Mind you this was before the VCRA so it's probably got a lot worse.

I've had a fair few nightmares with Wolf before - A friend had his M16 casually raped by them for £200, and i have to say the folks in the backroom are complete dickers. Whoever runs the place, which i'm assuming is them, need a good case of out the box not yet downgraded JG gun to the face. However, i bought my KA VIS from them recently (only place that had one) - Whoever took the order, despite my insistence Guaranteed Saturday Delivery should cost more, managed to screw up and sent it the standard way, meaning i wasn't going to get my gun in time for sunday's game, which in the end never occured (never going to a cage site after that). Anyhoo, a fella named Max, after much abuse down the phone, really did make a hell of an effort to get parcel force to allow me to collect it from the depot - They should have got it right in the first place, but they *did* manage to fix it in the end. Even if i drove all the way to dover the next day for absolutely no reason at all, but that's another story...

Basically, Wolf suck - But at least a couple of the guys working in there have some sense of customer service. Still won't be buying from them again though.

As per all the comments above, I have nothing positive to say about Wolf.

I identified they were poop, on my first visit but knew no better & kept going back. Eventually, I decided only to use them if they were the only source. Even then, on the relatively few times I used them, they managed to balls it up. So now I wont touch them.

Even if they lowered their prices & learned to say please & thanks, I wouldn't give them my money. On the principle, they have stuffed me so many times.

They put 'retail' in general, in a very bad light, let alone 'airsoft'.

If they were the only supplier of fanny on the planet,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'd become a monk. :(

Greg.

PS. I'm very proud of myself for not clogging up Arnie's & your thread, with a blow by blow list, of the disappointments I suffered on every single visit or contact I have ever had with them.

Hi, well not wishing to join the lynch mob, but I've ordered from them and had prompt service when they were doing the pre-UKARA sale. I've also popped in and despite it being hard to find it did remind me of a porn shop where you have to go out back to the hard-core section :D That said they aren't my first choice as they do know how to charge!

Bought a Mac-11. Their warranty only covered using White Devil BBs. That was OK I guess, only WD and Blasters worked in it.

They sent me 2 Glock 50rd mags instead of Mac. I sent them back at my expense, told them I needed the Mac mags for a game in 2 weeks time.

One of the mags just hissed out gas out the exit port. Sent it back, told them I needed it in 2 weeks.

Arrived 2 days late for the game. Still leaking. Sent it back, same instructions.

Arrived 2 days late.

Each time I sent them back at my expense. Utter complete scumbags.

What's wrong with Wolf Armouries?

That's easy.....EVERYTHING!

They are a complete bunch of useless turdletts, when I first started airsoft I bought an M4 off of them which never arrived, so I queried it and they said I had signed for it, only problem was I was on holiday in France when they say i signed for it!

I had several heated arguments with little twatlett called Simon who was convinced I was trying to rip them off, even going so far as to ask me where the M4 was.

Stay away from them, they are like swine flu!

I've only used them a couple of times, but both times it was for a small, hard to find item, which the insane price of postage from HK wouldn't justify an order from the usual suspects there.

In both cases, they delivered in a few days.

I have dropped in for a look around once and was generally ignored, which was fine as I wouldn't have bought a gun at their prices...

If you want a look around shop around London, A2 are much better and have a better shop too (Wolf was incredibly dark...), but don't have quite the range of parts and accessories (still good though)

Cheers.

I was charged £11 for a set of V2 mechbox screws. Never dealt with again.

That's nothing:

They tried to charge me £7.95 to post out a £10 mag valve! Total £17.95 for a £10 valve. Nice.

I asked if I could send them a self adressed envelope with a 1st class stamp on it & could they send it out in that. They refused.

Greg.
