Without coming across as too pessimistic; I'm 99% certain that it's not really viable at all to modify a RS spec. L85 rail unit to fit an ICS type rifle. The arrangement up the front end is simply too different, what with ICS using the quick release button on top, as opposed to attaching to the front sling mount bolt as with the STAR/RS.
