Here's a heads-up...

http://www.wgcshop.c...vfc&catid=&cat=

WGC puts the VFC M4/M16 mag at a $34 value, which is VERY attractive to say the least.

Also, this looks nothing like the WA one.

It's getting hotter...

Thats the best price for a gbb mag I have ever seen....*suitcase* I hope it doesn't come out for another month!!! That way I can get my mula and buy one m4 and like 5 mags!!! WANTTTT

Nothing definitive, I thought it was kinda odd the RA-T review did no mention of it. Most of the official VFC line is no. The RA-T video shows that their BCG was a drop in replacement for the VFC one. But if VFC focused more of their changes on the lower receiver(maybe striker location) then that might be where the incompatibility comes from.

Just got to use one of these briefly today, it was a pre-production model with VFC trades on the lower receiver. The kick and report were terrific, although the ROF was a little slower than I was expecting. The firing range was too short to properly assess the groupings unfortunately, but I found that the hop up was easy to adjust and clicked in at differing intervals.

http://www.arms-cool.net/forum/thread-61765-1-1.html

Someone on Arms-cool did some part swapping on a VFC, a summary:

-WA hop-up/outer barrel works on the VFC(if needed some minor work)(parts used, 5KU barrel extention, 5KU hop-up, Ino steel outer barrel)

-WA spec BC needs major modification, the valve-reset/cut-off lever is on the opposite side of the WA design, needs a new groove cut in to function properly(not sure how RA-T did theirs).

-WA spec bolt works, if not needed some mod(he tested 3, Element PPS nozzle, Pro&T(needs mod), and Ino 2010 aluminum(needs mod).

-PGC mag needs the bolt lock-back mech and the valve lock removed, needs some shimming in the mag well(loose), and the gun needs to be cocked(or shave down the valve) before it can be inserted. Use PGC 0.45 spec rubber.

-He broke the buffer retainer(swapped with Ino one for replacement), and broke the bolt carrier(replaced with a modded WA spec one, by cuting a new groove)

-He mentioned the gun use a lot of gas, semi-fire is ok, full auto the propane spews out of the gun very easily. Part of the mod he did on the WA bolt was to make his groove shorter than the stock VFC to cut off the gas earlier.

From another thread on the same site, another user mentioned that:

-RA-T used the Prime bolt for the VFC(http://www.arms-cool.net/forum/thread-61735-1-1.html), needed to be modified to work(guessing its the groove mentioned before).

-He also brought up some point that the tolerance affects how the gun feels, and said that each VFC feels different based on how the parts work together.

For those wondering if you use a WA-spec bolt with a WA mag, you still need to do the bolt mod I believe, since the valve lock/hammer reset lever on the VFC is no longer located on the mag, but its part of the firing pin/hammer mechanism as seen here:

Note the small lever by the hammer behind the bolt release.

Mag capacity is mentioned at 35 rounds, though that may be a translation error, perhaps someone who attended SHOT or IWA 2010 can shed some light on this?

Regular Colt M16's Magazine, and HK's have different capacities, and different size.

Special 2 Part Receiver is made of metal.

Production has started, and compared to WA, the weight is a lot lighter.

Some words here and there I don't understand, but that's basically what it saids.
