Started work on new Flute Valve after classes last week

Will probably try different materials to see how things go.

Here is the initial FPS Shot of the MP9 With my new Jet Nozzle Installed

This is with a warm magazine and a fresh injection of green gas

Here is a poorly shot video of the FPS in rapid fire shots.

(Taken with my Cellphone cam :-[)

I am going to head back and get a better string of shots on camera. The Large red paintball chrono is easier to film for a string of shots. but I am unsure how accurate it is in comparison to Airsoft specific chrono's.

Video was done with the Xortech Chrono with 2 shot magazines ( about 45 shots a mag) Averaging around 310 on with 289 on the lowest side and about 325 on the highest. This is with an unpolished valve and *slight* burrs on the piston. I tried to shoot about 3 videos, but all FPS readings were blurry due to lack of focus on my equipment.

When I have time this week, I am gonna take the cylinder apart and do a serious deburr/polish job and see where how it goes.

I am very excited about this. Sure, some might say this reduces the viability of the mp9 platform in open fields, but I see this as allowing the Mp9's to enter the cqb fields and dominate*

* your results will vary :P

Was able to get some more chrono time today at my local shop. Each shot was about a second apart.

Here are some readings

Any interest in making more? I would very much like to downgrade my mp9.

I do plan on it.

Although not by hand (machine?)

It takes about 2-3 hours to cut each right now. I had the part printed up and it has been sent to a shop to have copies made. I'll have word when they are ready in the next few days.

Would this work with the MP7 as well? I have a bunch of RA-Tech NPAS valves sitting around and was going to put this into an MP9 for CQB (whenever I got around to purchasing one). I'm wondering if both flute valves are the same. RA-Tech says their NPAS works for all System 7 guns.

This is good news. I'd like to buy a few from you if you mass produce them, as the reliability and consistency of RA-Tech NPAS nozzles is just horrid.

Have you had any experience of failures?

I've not had that problem with mine in the past and mine is causing my MP9 to put out pretty much 300 on the nose and a handy 20rps.

All the adjustment from there is downward though.
