Airsoft War4 has it in stock. Looks like it's somewhat of a Red Dot scope with the dot being the reticle instead of a dot.

It looks different from the real thing and that red "dot" reticle is stupid.

Whoa, you're right. Oddly enough, there's is called the "Milspex NSN ACOG Style Red Dot," whereas War4 has said it's a Guarder ACOG. It does somewhat look like the Guarder one though.

Anyone know anything more about this Scope?

It doesn't have zoom, I don't know if you can take it off its mount base, that would make it a little useful.

It really doesn't look like the real thing at all, does it?

No fixed iron sights on it either..

Yuck!

Dunno about you guys, but to me it looks somewhat like this one:
http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/products1.cfm?PartID=141

Except that the real one doesn't have those two things on top of the scope towards the front.

The illuminated reticule is not a bad idea. The real TA01 reticule is tritium illuminated. Like Marui's P90 optic (Also a Tritium illuminated reticule on the real steel) it's a compromise.

I think it looks great...alot of guys seem to think that there is only one ACOG model, when in reality there's more then you can shake a stick at...

I think even if it isn't a straight out replica, for the purpose of airsoft so long as it looks close enough to what it's meant to be and performs nicely it's all good.

The more finantially able can get their Gucci and the penny saving practical skirmishers get to enjoy some spiffy kit.

If somebody wants a grenade launching replica Surefire M900 it's up to them. We should welcome the variety even that we don't care for or choose to associate with.

Hmmm looks like the TA01 with a few aditional knobs.

I would prefer the look of a TA31 smile.gif

I wonder if war4 has the Guarder one or another brand huh.gif I emailed www.intrudershop.com and they told me that their ACOG has a simple reddot reticle.

There are about 20 that I know of but that one, well, I still think it looks fugly biggrin.gif

r1ckhard, yeah it looks a bit like the TA01C and clearly it's meant to be TA01ish but it doesn't look 'quite right' to me..

However, horses for courses, if people want to use it etc etc smile.gif

Alright guys, from the looks of it, I think War4 has misinterpreted something and the ACOG is actually a Milspex. Several things have led me to this conclusion.

-Guarder doesn't have the red O-rings on the knob.
-Guarder has just the dot, Milspex has the crosshair reticle thing.
-Although this could probably be changed, the Guarder shows the knobs on the right (Shooter's Point of View), Milspex shows knobs on the left.

Just got it, and it is definitely Guarder. The box says Guarder with their website on it too. Not a dot, it's the crosshair reticle thing. Will get pics up sooner or later.

EDIT -

(Thanks Machineabuse biggrin.gif )

Very cool there. Be good if you could do a review smile.gif

If you upload as an attachment it should automatically make a thumbnail for the pic.

Saw that. The difference is that in the WGC pic, there's writing on the side, whereas the Guarder one doesn't. Might be the same though. According to my friend, he said he saw a Japanese site that said Maruzen had come out with an ACOG Replica, but I haven't found it.

EDIT - Maruzen ACOG
