Well my dream has come true, and even I; Mr. I hate GBB has succomed to the greatness of taiwain reverse engineering! The mfg. is "WE" (WA???) and they just released a full metal copy of the TM Hicapa. It costs $103 on redwolf, ( http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...enu2=1199#17545 ) and I am excited to say that I just ordered one. Expect a review shortly!

Tef, that's a review of the Armotech Hi-Capa. WE is a different manufacturer, isn't it?
I, too, am curious how good these are compared to a real Hi-Capa, but not enough to actually get one of them.

Thats about the only exterior deffernce I can tell, no flashy logos on the grips which was a selling point for me.  All things will become known in time.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasnt there a bit on news about the legality regarding the use of the armotech name a while back? Could this new "WE" branding be a result of a new badgeing due to the use of the "armotech" name?

tef, does your armotech hicapa have an adjustable hop up?

edit- just realized that you only translated that review.

Well I received the gun today and I must say, I have fallen in love with it already.  When I opened the box I was greeted with a parkerized and orange 1911ish weapon.  The slide had been painted blaze orange about 1.5 inches up the front of the slide. Props to Red wolf for not sparaying the outter and inner barrel!

The gun is very hefty weighting more than a full metal KJW P14.5 for sure. The action of the slide is very smooth with pronounced metallic clicks and clacks. The grip is plastic and is missing the fugly Armotech logos! YES!  The magazine bumper seems to be made better than the WA SV bumpers, but it rattles on the bottom of the mag a little bit. ( electical tape shimming will do). The trigger has a short and seemingly light pull; a pleasnt suprise. Grip and secondary saftey are working and magazine release is flawless.

The built in rail seems to be flawed. It does not have a milled in cross groove for locking lighs and lasers onto the rail. That will have to be a custom job.  The sights are fully adjustable BO-MAR style sights, that IMO are nicer than the WA style BOMAR's.

Only two marking on the gun, left side in rather large print, "OPS-M.R.P. CAL.45" and in smaller lettering on the ejection side of the gun, on the slide; "M.R.P. CAL.45". No other markings on the gun, and the chamber is bare.

The gun is easily field stripped and re assembled in under 90 seconds.  Metal outter barrel, hopup unit, chamber, sping guide rod, lower frame, slide, and just about everything except for the grip and its componets are metal.

I still havent fired the gun yet, but I will hopefully later on today.

The gun field stripped into its major componets.

The easily (tooless) adjustable hopup and slide.

Very nice Screwschom.  You have my full attention biggrin.gif

First off, I'd love to know your impressions of firing this, but I have a couple of other questions you may be able to help me out with too.

Firstly, who are WE?  They haven't popped up on my radar yet and Redwolf aren't providing details.  What is their full name and do they have a reputation yet?

Secondly, is this model compatible with the Marui Hi-Capa spare magazines?  If not, I don't suppose you know if they are easily available do you?

Sorry for all the questions, but this is one VERY nice looking GBB biggrin.gif

Cheers wink.gif

In all the gun cost me $131 shipped to California.

I kind of have a hunch that WE is a derivitave of HFC, my only reasoning is the wording of the gun description. As you can see here (http://snowman.ascuk.net/hfcm9.htm) on the second photo of the case the wording is "Air model firearm cal. 6mm synthetic ammo" which is exactly letter for letter what is written on the cover of the manual.  Me feeling towards the gun is not skewed due to this hunch.  Unfortuanltey there is no elaboration of the "WE" mfg name.

I still havent had a chance to shoot it yet, since my personal agreement never to own a gas gun since like 4 months ago, I do not have gas at my disposal.

The only two guns a can really compare this to is a WA SV 5.0LTD (magna) and a KWA USP. But anything that shoots is better than the USP imo, so I will be basing my opinions on a SV.

I do not have access to a TM Hicapa for comparison, but I would be glad to take detailed photos (try my hardest to elimate the camera shake) of any part requested.

One very appealing point is the number of seam lines, the only ones I can find is on the trigger guard, and a very fine one on the grip safety.

It wasnt anything too hard at all, when I first went to shoot it the slide would cock back on every shot, this was caused by some left over metal from the cast of the slide release. I used a file and some sandpaper to take away the excess of the points that showed wear and polished up the rod and not it works so great.  I cannot wait to put he upgraded springs and valve when it gets here.  I would reccomend this gun very highly. This pistol has the BEST hopup of any gun I have ever used.  Groupings are suprisingly good!  Cyclitic rate is just below that of a WA SV on green gas with plastic slide. Definatley faster than a KWA USP.

According to WGC the Armotech is compatible with HiCapa mags so this one probably should be.

One question: Is the safety ambidextrous or only on the left side?

Glad to hear it's such a nice gun. WGC are saying they shipped my order yesterday so I should be getting mine in a week or so.
