Why would anyone buy this? CA products are horrible...just get the proven GP and SP versions.

Because even CA can't mess up on a tube and simple firing pin system. But honestly... G&Ps come with the right trades, so why bother?

You 100% sure on that? They messed up tubing with a spring and follower in it...

As of late, they're quality control has been better, at least with my experience. Any problems with that would most likely not be from build material but assembly problems which should be easily sorted out. Who knows... sadly you may be right.

and could someone please tell me why its only marui and Sun willing to make the m203 with m16 replacement foregrip/heatshield? I like that look, but I'm not paying for shiney nonsense drainpipe tubing and rubbish locking mechanisms from SP, or that silly three bb shotgun like afair from TM... come G&P and CA, make an m16 m203 heatshield, you lazy bums...

I believe Toytech made an M203 a fully automatic 500rnd gravity feed version that pushed around 300-400fps. As well as CAW made a M203 i think.

It's a version 2 gearbox but Classic Army's version 4 M16 series weapon. Version 4 gearboxes are Uzi gearboxes I believe.

your mixing TMs gearboxes up with the CA gerboxes-

Tm are up to V 7 or whatever, CA are up to V.4.

TM use a v2 in their armalite range, whereas by CAs reckoning, they are on a V.4 for their armalites.

basically the same shape, just different manufacturers' guidelines

No, the gearboxes for CA haven't changed. They're still version 2... CA's guns have had different versions however. CA didn't invent their gearbox, they just copied it from TM. It's still referred to as a version 2 gearbox.

Can be the 4th evolution of the type 2 gearbox, however for most people all these are still type 2. Type 3 are for AK's, G36 among others and type 1 for the FAMAS, if we want to use TM's types.

It's still a copied version 2 gearbox.

don't really matter about the gearbox much anyway, the gears are much better quality than TMs :)
