I think I suggested this in another thread.

It also seems to confirm something that I've said for ages, that Cybergun does indeed have exclusive rights to Colt trades (on M4s at least).

Why would Colt ever agree to have one of their most successful weapons replicated (trades and all) by such a poor company?    I must be missing something  huh.gif

ICS? They are arguably, the best AEG manufacturer on the market today. Having said that, I am surprised that colt sold their trademarks, but I'm not surprised it went to ICs.

I'm sorry, I must be confused. ICS is indeed an excelent company, I thought Hissing Sid was saying that Cybergun had exclusive rights to the trades.

Is Cybergun allowing ICS to use the Colt trades? How did Cybergun get those rights i the first place?

Do you know when we'll start seeing ICS M4s and M16s with Colt trademarks in stores?

Also didn't Cybergun buy up a lot of rights to different real steel guns a while back in attempt to corner the market? , but they completely forgot that they were only capable of making replicers that aren't even fit to wipe your backside with lol

heute, basically what has happen is, CyberGun is somehow connected to ICS, and are letting them use the rights to produce guns with teh trademarks on. I'm amazed you couldn't gather that from the paragraph in the first post!!!??! tongue.gif

I was just guessing at the Cybergun connection TBH.

Apparently Cybergun has linked itself with ICS in the production of their AK47 and it seems like a coincidence that soon after that deal is announced, ICS also announce that they'll be selling Colt franchised M4s.

Check out the Cybergun website and download their catalogue. Apparently they have exclusive rights to a whole bunch of gun franchises.
Seeing as they're a European company I'd be surprised if they could get away with saying stuff like that if it wasn't true in the same way Asian companies can.

As soon as these Colt recievers are sold seperately, I shall own one. I expect it to be a long while before we ever see them though. wink.gif

I can't understand that big paragraph in the first post. The grammar is all fubar, and it sounds like it's in pigeon English. I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here Gene.
"Well I've had a word with Joe, and he says instead of making a cable and sending a signal for my TAT B's, I can do a jump into a DZ from 600-metres with an Epson printer-scanner on my back, and then tab 10 miles over undulating terrain, at night, to unlock an officer's user account after he got the password wrong three times."

Yes well, we can thank ICS's bad English speaking PR for that wink.gif
