Star plastic mags have been nothing but trouble for me in the m4 flavor. The g&p midcaps work fine provided that you don't try to load them to full capacity. I use the standard length and the short 20 rnd style mags. I only load them with 30 and 20 rounds respectively because I enjoy the realism. They feed all the time, same as my marui standard mags provided you stick to a realistic round count.

I don't really like plastic bodied armalite variant mags because you can't drop them like real mags without fear of breakage and like I said, the feeding is pretty..bleah.

That's too bad, my Star M4 real-caps have been nothing but awesome for me. I don't worry about dropping them either, they are tough! (and if one did break, woo, five bucks.) My G&P mid-caps on the other hand, they don't work so well with my gun. sad.gif

Hopefully these will start showing up individually on ebay like the star mags. I'd buy one to try out. smile.gif

Man, I wish someone would make cheap G36 mags.

I carry around 11 lo-cap STAR mags, they work like a charm. But I carry around an 400 hi-cap mag, just in case.I don't really like to use high-caps because the bbs rattle headbutt.gif

I posted something about this back a few weeks ago when I saw them on ebay. I think someone was going to buy a box and then let us know, but not sure what happened with that.

If that is the MAG brand I just got a box of the MP5 mids and they are working well so far. just have to silicone them when you first get them. I'll know more after a game on the 23rd though. A friend of mine just picked some m4 versions up, he said they are working well too. I'll let you know more after the game.

I agree with Static. G36 mags are so expensive and no one makes a cheapo one. Maybe its because they don't want to the bullets in them...
