There doesn't seem to be much interest in it anymore. So I ask - Is it still in production or have they cancelled it?

Ok so a few months back in the news section there was a post about a new AS mag!
Well what happened to it? The first publication was supposed to be in april

Only at airsoft outlets at the moment (Elite Airsoft and AirsoftScotland that I know of, but others, too, I'm sure).

They are seeing how things go with the initial run, but I'm fairly sure they are commited to a more public release for future issues at some point.

Ive got the first issue sat right next to me and its quite good, Iam not sure where my friend got it but that shows they are around.

As it is a specialist magazine i assume that it will become more of a subscription based magazine. Whereas you pay, say $10 (thats pounds not dollars, my pounds key dont work) every quarter and you recieve the magazine by delivery when it is released each month. This is what happens with most specialist magazines. As if they were to sell them at shops such as WH Smiths, not enough copies would be sold to warrant buying them in the first place. If anyone knows anything more about how they plan on selling them, that would be great. If i could get it on a subscription i would certainly take advantage of it.

Has the VCR issue been raised in the magazine? It could become a useful vessel for informing the general public about airsoft, assuming it does eventually go mainstream.
