Judging from the silverish barrel, there's a cut out for the Marui style hop up.

Thank god its milled not cast. Zeke slides that are milled are well worth it, but their cast ones usually stink (remember their Mk23 one). The finish they put on their milled slides are usually the closest to the real thing.

Im pretty sure that Zeke has a Yahoo Auctions account. There should be a link to it on their site. Everything they sell on Yahoo is usually a bit over the retail value for some reason, just so you know.

Plus, if you want to buy from Yahoo Japan, you are going to have to get a middleman service and that my add upwards of $50 USD extra.

SilentScope - are all current Zeke slides milled or is it some milled some die casted?

With Zeke slides, it should say on the box if its milled or cast. The price can tell you a lot too. Almost all of their most current stuff is milled. I think they still cast their Beretta ones though.

QHS. . didn't I tell you everything you needed to know about Zeke products. . casted and CNC machined slides? Man. .all that time and you don't pay attention. . geeessh. .

on side note. .having been in airsoft since 96. .I've owned Zeke metal kits for : Tanaka P226, Tanaka USP, Marui Uzi, KSC Glock 17, KSC Glock 34, Marui M9, KSC MK23, Maruzen P99, Maruzen 1911, Maruzen M11, a mess of Tanaka revolver metal frames, and many many more. . .

At the same time, I have owned Sheriff/Nitto Engineering, PGC, G&G, Prime, SD, and more. . .

Zeke is still one of my favorite companies of metal kits for gbbs. . .I've never ever had problems with their fitting, quality, finish, etc ..My MK23 slide was top knotch and easily rivaled Shooter's Design's version in terms of quality, fit, detail, etc.

I've had problems with Sheriff slides before my Zeke slides. Zeke's newer CNC slides are top knotch. . so is the price. I think the Zeke USP Compact kit was selling for $375-380 USD in Japan the same week KSC released the gbb.

(PGC is my favorite company for gbb kits/parts)

You didnt have any trouble fitting your Zeke Mk23 slide? Ive heard so many horror stories about that one. Did the finish come off easily?

I didn't have any problems with the slide fitting. .almost drop-in. .I don't know what production year my kit was .. it was pretty old. . in the late 90s. Maybe the newer production slides had problems. .the finish was baked on, on my MK23. . .so it never flaked off. . I eventually sandblasted it off so I could simulate my own "HK maritime" finish.

Even after machining in the "Phase III" details into the Phase II slide. . .the details came out great. .no pitting from the casting .. normally, if you sand down the surface of a casted slide, you can see the pitting and tiny air pockets. . .not this one. Maybe just a luck of the draw.
