Seems pretty interesting. Along with the $30 shells G&P released with it: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...oft%20Cartridge
Pretty cheap compared to my STAR GP30 (Now sold on)

Personally I'd prefer to skip the G&P grenade and save a few bucks on the launcher.
Although .. in reality I like the look of the Star one better .. so am hoping the G&P drives down Star's price

OK, but the star GP-30 betters it.
nades look odd.
Looks asif the launcher pulls the pin out the back of the shell, firing it.
If so thats abit lame if you ask me.
Then again that pin could be to re-set the nade.

And the 25 Should weigh more as it's a tad bit longer.
And that's only correct if GP based their version off of the real one.

Doesn't mean that you can fit any airsoft 40mm nade in it though.
The Star GP-30 weighs more than the current airsoft GP-25s.

Does say that the nades will only work in the G&P launcher.

Well if the shell is designed differently i'm guessing it only takes those shells, else why make them differently.
A little like if an 8MM BB packet said will only work in 8MM guns, then wondering if they'll fit in a 6mm BB gun... ok thats a little more over board, but still.

frankly, launchers are to a far greater extent about looking cool than any practical value on the skirmish field

I thought the same until I started to see the stuff from Madbull. Some of those CO2 powered 'nades seem decent. I do not have a launcher at this time, but am seriously thinking about geting one.
Also we're trying to get vehicles involved in our games more and more so slugs / rockets certainly seem handy to have around (we're playing rules where small arms is inneffective against vehicles .. must hit it with slug or rocket).

Ak Fad? No more like the eastern block players are finally getting some attention!
I'm pretty excited about this GP-25, sadly it does look like it'll only use the grenades supplied by G&P, however if it is simply a 40mm tube we might be able to rig something. Guess the first person to buy it will have to report on that.
